I'm gonna have to put in for a veto... Fran is just too valuable and heavily tilts the scales.

The Magic accept the aforementioned deal. Odom fit more as a luxury as opposed to a need. We love Vujacic's shooting touch and his ability to play the pg spot in a pinch is well noted. We really like the hustle that Scola brings to our team. His ability to play inside outside as well as the dirty work should compliment both Dwight and Murphy.

The Phoenix Suns and Sacramento Kings would like to announce the following deal:

Trade 1: Sacramento sends Beno Udrih (5.8 million) for Suns TE and 2010 Cleveland 2nd round pick

Trade 2: Sacramento sends Francisco Garcia (1.98 million) for Suns Nick Young (1.6 million). 1.6 million x 1.25 + 0.1 million 2.1 million

Trade 3: Suns sends Gerald Green to Sacramento. No returning salary required since Green is signed in a minimum contract.

Hate to lose the young player in Nick Young but he is not really what we need right now since we are contending. Udrih and Garcia are veterans that fit our team needs at the moment.

Sacramento Accepts

Garcia is an ideal player for Sacramento, but we believe that Young and Green will further our rebuilding even more.

The Orlando Magic and Charlotte Bobcats have agreed to the following: (Pending Lakers and Indiana deal)

The Orlando Magic will send

Speedy Claxton $5,757,818
2010 Indiana 2nd round pick

The Bobcats will send

Antonio Daniels - 6,200,000

We like what Daniels brings to our team. Solid Defense, Heart and a desire to win. This move gives us a lot more flexibility with our 2nd unit. Losing a 2nd round pick hurts, but it's a pill that we'll have to swallow in order to win now.

Pending approval of the Mavs/Wizards trade...

The Blazers and Mavericks have agreed on a trade:

Blazers trade/Mavs receive:

Dorell Wright $2,612,835
Louis Amundson $797,581
Sean Singletary $442,114

Total: $3,852,530

Mavs trade/Blazers receive:

DeShawn Stevenson $3,616,071
Sergio Rodriguez $874,000
Aaron Gray $711,517 (minimum salary, not counted in total)

Total: $4,490,071

3,852,530 X 1.25 + 100,000 = 4,915,662
4,915,662 > 4,490,071

Blazers accept. We're excited to bring in a veteran with playoff experience in Stevenson who is a solid wing off of the bench, as well as bringing back Sergio.

Dallas accepts. Dorrell is a nice young piece and we cut some additional salary with this deal. A Sergio/Singletary swamp is alo ok as we are ok at the PG spot so far.

Charlotte accepts, we don't need daniels, and we're hoping that speedy retires because of his injuries and even if he doesn't, he is still a cheaper option than daniels, and an extra pick helps

The Utah Jazz and Phoenix Suns have agreed to a trade:

Jazz Trade:
Carlos Boozer $11,593,817

Phoenix Trade:
Richard Hamilton $10,812,500

The Jazz accept this deal. Its always tough to trade a 20/10 PF like Boozer but we think Millsap is ready to fill in and take the next step. We wish Booz all the best in Arizona.

The math works for this deal.

Suns accept this deal. Hard to let go of a player that fitr our starting sg spot just right but getting a player of boozer skillset makes us more flexible in making the team better. One of boozer, okafor or amare could net us good replacement for rip.

The LA Clippers and Denver Nuggets have come to term on the following trade:

Clippers Send:
Baron Davis $11,250,000
Ricky Davis $2,300,000
Steve Novak $797,581
Total outgoing: $14,347,581

Nuggets Send:
Jose Calderon $7,438,018
Charlie Bell $3,354,480
Chris Mihm $2,762,500
Total outgoing: $13,554,998

Math works just fine. Baron is not BYC. Jose's BYC doesn't apply anymore as he was already traded once.

Clippers Accept. Although we downgrade in terms of talent and take on Charlie Bell's underwhelming contract, we add a point guard who will work better as a catch and shoot player playing alongside our post oriented bigmen and Slashing wings.

Denver accepts. Despite already receiving an email that the deal will get vetoed and that the deal is horrible for me, I like it a lot more what others perceive of it. First, Baron atm has ricky davis and al thornton as his go to guys on the wings. My team has Michael Redd and Josh Howard. Of course Baron will do much better in this environment. I'm happy with either Calderon or Davis, I just like Davis more as a player.

all trade prior to cavs/suns are approved. there was a veto vote for the boozer/rip trade but i am letting the trade through because of boozer's impending contract status in which he has stated that he will most def. opt out. Rip on the other hand just signed a fresh new deal.

Don't know if this is contingent on the Cavs/Suns trade getting approved, but if not, the Nuggets would like to sign Terrance Kinsey and Anthony Roberson to unguaranteed contracts

The Dallas Mavericks and Portland Trailblazers have a follow up trade to announce:

Dallas sends:

Louis Amundson- $797,581

Portland sends:

Aaron Gray- $711,517

Dallas is happy for Gray to return. We feel the need for a Center is a greater desire for us at this juncture.

The Orlando Magic and Dallas Mavericks have a trade to announce:

Orlando will send:

Sasha Vujacic - 4,524,887
Devean George - 1,700,000
Maceo Baston - 2,300,000

Total: 8,544,887 x 1.25 + 100,000 = 10,756,108

Dallas will send:

Luke Ridnour - 6,500,000
Darius Songalia - 4,235,000

Total: 10,735,000

The Magic are glad to add a PG like Ridnour. His passing skills should fit in perfectly with our uptempo style of play. Darius Songalia gives us much needed help in our frontcourt. His ability to pass from the high post and hit the mid range jumper will help create more opportunities for our team.

The Orlando Magic sign Fred Jones to meet roster requirement
