The pick IS protected. If it's a lottery pick, it stays in Denver.

Thanks, I wasn't aware of that.

Well, see, I know he will have difficulty cracking the rotation, but I don't really see that he should be used that way. I see him as being used to stretch out Nene's minutes and give more flexibility to Birdman.

He has to be used right away to temper Nene's minutes so we don't put Nene to the grindstone when he's all ready sharp. Even if he is just a rebounder and a body.

No doubt Nene is a beast and can go and go, but it's good to have that second gear so when it's time to slow, we can slow and the gears wont go crunch.

Asked what it would take for Petro to get on the court, Karl said: "That's a hard one. A 20-point lead." :eek1:

Good ol' Karl. So Petro can say f' practice. Why should he work hard or listen to the coach when the coach has said he won't be playing him?

And Karl had been whining for more big man depth. The guy is a moron.

GK himself has said he's concerned about what Nene and K-Mart are on pace to average minute-wise. We may not know exactly when the next 20 pt lead will come and yet we will would want to protect their health, right? Space their minutes regardless of the score. More like the day of the schedule or the status of the minutes used than the score???
