So this is what .500 is like? It's been a while.
I couldn't catch the game or even the replay, but it looks like we did very well.

Yi was solid, knocking down his shots.. playing good defense.
Lopez was solid as well.. I just wish he dunks it with more authority... so the fans get more excited.
Carter was absolutely solid. None of those ill advised 3's that he's prone to taking... was very patient and overall solid performance.
CDR - this guy needs to move around and run his ass off when he doesn't have the ball.. I can see him being like rip hamilton, but he just stands around when he doesn't have the ball.Dooling played solid defense... he was harrassing the opposing guards~ it was great to see..
Simmons hit his shots, but I still question some of his shot selections..
Hayes was solid~ did what he needed to do..
Najera the same as well as Hayes, hustled hit some shots... overall solid.
That is a coaching issue. They are trying to see if he can play PG. Another wasted talent on the FRANK's bench. The kid is a scorer not a PG. Frank just doesnt know the talent he has. For christ sakes LOPEZ still hasnt gotten consistant plays to POST UP. Gay was on fire and FRANK did play HASSEL.

Most likely RJ comes in here to prove a point. that is the kind of player he is. AND I LOVE IT. We should still win that game. So expect to NOT see HASSEL guarding him because you have to use reverse pychology with FRANK. Just to hope HE does the right thing.
I HOPE he DOESNT POST UP LOPEZ.
I HOPE he DOESNT have SET PLAYS FOR YI.
I HOPE he DOESNT PLAY CDR AND ANDERSON.

My thoughts on this game.
If FRANK wasnt an idiot, he would continue with this style of play when Harris comes back.
Throw the Dribble Drive in there occasionally. Have Harris play the way VC played this game.
Run POST UP PLAYS FOR LOPEZ.

To be fair SIC,
The so called dribble drive offense is the one Harris excels at. Remember early in the season when Harris tried to be a "PG" - it was miserable. Harris is coming around though - last few games I've seen him make the correct passes and not force his own shot. Sometimes we can forget that Harris is still one of the young developing guys - he's getting better & that's kinda scary.
Also regarding Lopez I too want more plays run for him in the post but there have been several games where Frank called his number and Lopez had repeated unforced turnovers (traveling) or had the ball stripped by his defender or 2nd defender that he didn't see...it's a learning curve and he is getting more touches in the post. I think he's developing nicely - it's a fine line between giving a rook enough touches to develop & giving him too much rope to hang himself.

The dribble drive offense was brought in primarily because of Harris. You play to your strengths not against it.
