Jones is now signed. I'm anxious to see what he brings to the table. He ran a similar offense at SJSU, so it wouldn't surprise me, at all, if he comes in and wins the #3 job.

Yes he is pretty slow, and 15 pounds of muscle lighter.

As long as he has the ability to get open, I don't care how fast he is. A nice possession WR would be nice to have, especially with our TE situation up in the air. A guy like Antonio Freeman, in his prime, was never really a burner, but he had a little wiggle and got open. Sterling Sharpe, who I think this guy is getting compared to, wasn't a 'fast' receiver either. It sounds like this guy is a boom or bust guy though. Some think he could be a stud and others think it was a bad pick, especially at where they picked him.
