English is my first language I just had to get my ged at 16 because I was kicked out of the house at 16, twelve long years ago so sorry for the mispellings.
I was going to combine all of my ideas into one giant long post but my computer kept shutting off so when I posted something i wanted to hit submit post before it erased.
This didn't work out like I thought it would be I had good intentions.

I still hope some people write what they would do if they were the gm just for fun because I am curious to see.
I want to get to know the people here for example who are your favorite players off alltime and now?

I know this is topic change but most people didn't like this thread enough to respond but i still hope some of you still do.

Mine are

Kobe
RJ
DJ
Wallace
Diaw
Mek
Gasol
Bynum
Westbrook
Felton
Isiah Thomas (retired)
Patrick Ewing (retired)
Derek Harper (retired)
Kenny Smith (retired)
Hakeem (retired)
Hughes
Jason Kidd
Kenyon Martin
Juwan Howard- Don't ask me why but I had Howard jersey's growing up
Kirk
Dwight Howard
Rashard McCants (unc fan)
Jerry Stackhouse
Elton brand-I love guys who are 6'6 (listed at 6'8) who block shots
Ramon Sessions
Jordan Farmar
Rip-Just always liked him even though I hate the Pistons
Prince-I love guys who are ironmen
David Lee

Players I hate

The entire boston Celtics team-beat the lakers
Lamar Odom-so inconsistant
Rasheed Wallace-should have been a top 10 player in the game
Amare-he made fun of the bobcats
Stephon Marbury-Used to be one of my favs but is an idiot.
Shawn Marion-He's a narsisistic and his game aint that good. Can't even create but he thinks he's a first ballot hall of famer. He's probably gonna be looking for the max when he is worth about 4 years 35 million if that.

Those are nice trades. Im glad to see I am not the only guy that believes this is the perfect situation for Hughes and being he is out there it would be silly not to try and get him. If he does play like the Wiz Hughes we basically got Diaw for nothing.
I would also want to pick up Livingston. I love his game and even though a comeback is unlikely with his height it's possible if he bulked up and played point sf.
I also think getting MCcants makes all the sence in the world espially on a basketball standpoint and a pr standpoint.
It;s funny you said Simmons to because I still wonder if he could be good. I believe David West came out of nowhere as well. It happens sometimes and the kid is young.

I have to admit if we can pull all of those moves off that team is better then the one's I assembled.

1. Move the franchise to Raleigh. New start, same state, fan support would improve b/c Charlotte doesn't care/doesn't know what they've got.

2. Hire PR people. Fluffer, I'm lookin at you (can we bring back the poetry slam thread?) bring your people person skills, you'll be working with SM15 for graphic design. Have a strong internet presence, hoping to attract more international fans and out of the typical nba demographic hipster types.

3. Play armchair GM like Cuban, appoint Big Slam to whatever position mj is currently holding. Fire Higgins/hire spectre

4. Create a division of advanced statistics headed by Paydro and e4.

5. Hire a personal trainer for Felts and Okafor. The esteemed W_Hamilton will be working with Felton, likewise FatLever will be responsible for convincing Emeka to drop the Toodlez gig and become the MekWarrior full time.

6. Start heavily scouting the 1st round prospects. Take the player with the highest upside in the lotto, BPA in the 2nd round.

7. No trades until the offseason. Even Carroll and Mohammed will become more valuable after this season.

Just think of the revenue we could bring in if we sold tickets to that!

that was great stuff walt.

how long would mek take me yelling at him "stop being such a pussy and dunk the ball" before he ripped my head off and ate it? of course him reacting in such a manner would ultimately prove that my job was done. mission accomplished. i'll take one for the team.

I could handle the chicks, the golf and the occasional court side seat....................not sure I could rock the high pants though.

I would trade Nazr and Carroll for Larry Hughes.

Then I would trade Crash for Kaman.

After these trades I would trade Felton and May to Portland for Sergio, Frye and Webster.

PG: Augustine, Singletary, Rodriguez

SG: Hughes, Bell, Brown

SF: Diaw, Webster, Morrison

PF: Okafor, Howard, Ajinca

C: Kaman, Frye, Hollins

I like that team, but I doubt others would lol.
