Should be a great game. Can Orlando contain Parker, Duncan & Ginobili? Gotta watch out for their marksmen too. Guys like Roger Mason, Michael Finley, George Hill & Bruce Bowen could keep the defense honest.

On the flip side, San Antonio has to come with a gameplan. Double Howard in the post and let the Magic bomb away from downtown? Or single Dwight, don't collapse by staying home on the shooters, and hope he doesn't score a career high? Should be interesting.

Good luck...just not tonight! :)

We have to make our 3s... It is scary how dependent we have been on making our threes in order to win games.

It is a very good test of where we are in the NBA. We have had an easy set of games to balance the 13 or so game road trip we have later on in the year.

Game plan is simple...

Control Howard
Makes threes
Control the boards.

tough game, huge test..

these next 2 games will tell us where we are, since it's against 2 of the elite teams in the NBA..hopefully we join that level this week, which we would with these 2 wins..

Tony can't guard Nelson in any way, so it's a MUST that he brings his usual offensive game..Lewis also worries me too, since we don't really have anybody that can match up with him..

The reason there are so few posts on the Spurs board is that our fans are usually far too busy banging chicks without rubbers. A cause which we can all support.

Does anyone else think the Spurs should try to stay at home on the shooters and force Howard into anything but a dunk and see how that goes at the start of the game. Ok maybe that's a poor idea.

The game was won and lost with the 3 point jumpshot.

It is pointless to look at other things.

The Magic were better tonight.

exactly. leaving those wide open shooters was the story of the game....that and the Magic defended the Spurs at the 3pt line very well. Give them all the credit.

You're a smart man, covering all your bases like that. If the unthinkable had happened though you could have had little harlemheat junior post on our boards to boost membership.

BTW, much respect for your use of the reverse polar bear position.

I can't believe my comment rang true though. I always thought that the Spurs were just an unpopular team. From the evidence here I've concluded that:

Man + Spurs fandom = much love from the ladies

Pretty horrific closing out on 3 pt. shooters last night. Hopefully this loss will fire the guys up and they'll come out firing vs. LA.

The sucky thing about playing Orlando is that between Lewis and Hedo they have two 6-10 guys who can still get off a 3 even if you do close out on them.
