We have to make up ground in this month without Boozer. We're 3 games back from 2nd place in the West and we have a very favorable remaining January schedule for making up some ground:

Indiana
@ Oklahoma City
@ Memphis
@ Dallas
Minnesota
@ Houston
Cleveland
@ Denver
San Antonio
Oklahoma City
@ Portland

We have to go 8-3 or better if we honestly wanna contend for homecourt in the first round. Obviously the games that pop out are the ones at Dallas, Houston, Denver, and Portland and the home game vs. San Antonio. We do well in those games, we will be making up some serious ground right before the all-star break.

I'd say we are starting to click offensively at the right time, hopefully we carry it over onto the road.

4 of these are vicious back to backs on the road.

memphis->dallas
wolves-rockets
cavs->nuggets
okc->portland.

We'll be lucky if we go 1-3 in the tail end of these pairs, so we better win everything else...

Hopefully we can beat Portland and Denver, but it will be tough. If we go 8-3 with wins against Portland and Denver, that would be about the best case scenario for this stretch IMO.

More likely we are 7-4 or 6-5.

Indiana - win
@ Oklahoma City - win
@ Memphis - win
@ Dallas - loss
Minnesota -win

@ Houston - loss
Cleveland - win
@ Denver - loss
San Antonio - win

These 4 are the tricky part of the schedule. We could go 4-0 or 0-4 in those games.

Oklahoma City - win
@ Portland - loss

7-4 as I see it...
