Great game thread and lets go Pacers.
We've been competitive in pretty much all our games and are so much better than our records.

By the way Gremz are you from Australia? Which part?
I thought I was the only Aussie Pacer fan

Can't wait for this game. I hope it's one of those high paced mid-100s games. Those are always exciting.

This board is boring, we need to talk about our almost-healthy Pacers! Up 8 and our offense looks great. The only problem is we are giving up crazy amounts of points so far this year (2009) and season.

We will win this one. The Pacers probably have so much frustration pent up from almost having the Lakers that they'll let loose against the depleted Golden State Warriors.

133-107, Pacers.

Major props to Jack on that play, and I think the Warriors will score over 107...

I just don't even know what to say... Game after game..... I think I'd rather start losing by 15 than have another heart-breaking loss, as dumb at that sounds. We are soooooo close to winning every game though, it's just tough.

Oh yeah and we need to start playing some defense and quit giving up 120 points on a nightly basis... We score 117 points and lose, and it isn't even a rare occurance!

My thoughts exactly, Diener had a great look at it and had made two in the quarter, just a tough way to loose (story of this season) :(

Mike Dunleavy played like a scared kid out there tonight and the entire team other than Ford left Danny out there to do it all by himself. I feel bad for him having to put up with all this losing after literally carrying us on his back the entire season.

Mike had shot 4-13 and Obie designed a play for him. -_-

Might I add that with all those misses they weren't close. You could nearly see the brown coming out the bottom of his shorts tonight. The fans were in his head in a major way.

And I don't think that Dunleavy shot at the end was drawn up like that because it sure as hell looked like a forced shot to me.

I think Dunleavy and Murphy resorted back to how they played while in GS, not good.

That was vintage GSW Dunleavy you saw. That's why Ws fans were so down on him. He never put it together in GS like he did last season in Indiana.

Granger is a beast, and the guy I wanted in the 2005 draft. Taking freakin Ike Diogu over him was a true Warrior moment. :banghead:

From ESPN:

Coach Jim O'Brien said Dunleavy's shot was by design.

"We had run three straight [plays] for Danny, so we tried a handoff to Mike," O'Brien said. "We have to learn how to defend at some point in our lives. We're not defending well enough to win these close games. We had the opportunities, and we didn't get it done. We're not defending anybody."

Of course, Dun's problem is that he needs more confidence. Why not develop him better and give him confidence. God knows his problem is mental at this point.

On the flipside, Granger most likely would have been the player included in the Murphyleavy trade had we drafted him.
