After seeing the play over, Fish got lost in transition which is the first rule of defense finding you guy after a bucket.Sedale Threatt wrote:He was hedging to help stop Wade's penetration, no? Considering all the three-point plays he dropped on our head, that was understandable.
Anyway, you're on point -- there's big difference between the second quarter and the fourth. That's why Dwyane Wade is Dwyane Wade and Chris Quinn is Chris Quinn.

In regaurds to Kobe's defense I thought he played defense really well. His ball denial was great, his one on one defense was great when Wade didnt have a pick. The only thing that was the problem was when Wade got a pick the help guy let wade go right around him. Now granted it is D-Wade. Kob e probably should have opened up a little bit more to let negate the pick because theres really no fighting through that because once wade gets a step its over. What really surprised me was how much Wade needed that pick to get to the rim. Kobe didnt fall for the head fakes or any of D-Wades antics. D-Wades offensive game is ridiculous, Thats probably about as well as you can play him.
Here's a pretty good article about Kobe's defense on Wade:
