McDaniels to the Broncos

ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports that Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels has agreed to a deal that will make him the Broncos' next head coach.

See mangini, all you had to do was go out west, or somewhere other then NY, and this whole Mangini versus Belicheck war would have never taken place.

I agree on the Mangini front. As for McDaniels, I think he'll do wonders for the Broncos. He's a very smart and young guy. Plus he's really got some talent on the offensive side of the ball. If they can draft some solid defensive players, they should do well.

Should be interesting to see who the Pats will be bringing in.

CSN's felger was speculating that BB takes over the role.

He did this after weis left I believe. Then the next year named mcdaniels the successor.

It's possible that BB does that. I still think he worries too much about that defense tho.

I'd like to get a proven OC that knows how to put points on the board. While Mike Martz system appears to be on hold, I know BB has a great deal of respect for him.
