Devean George - 1,700,000
Maceo Baston - 2,300,000

Total: 8,544,887 x 1.25 + 100,000 = 10,756,108

Dallas will send:

Luke Ridnour - 6,500,000
Darius Songalia - 4,235,000

Total: 10,735,000

The Magic are glad to add a PG like Ridnour. His passing skills should fit in perfectly with our uptempo style of play. Darius Songalia gives us much needed help in our frontcourt. His ability to pass from the high post and hit the mid range jumper will help create more opportunities for our team.

Dallas waives Raef LaFrentz.

We accept this deal. We felt Ridnour was a bad fit here. Obtaining a young SG option in Vujacic and some small expirings fits much better with our plan than the veterans of Songaila and Ridnour.

Dallas is happy for Gray to return. We feel the need for a Center is a greater desire for us at this juncture.
Blazers accept. We already have a 3rd string center in Gortat, and Amundson could prove valuable for us later on.

The Dallas Mavericks and Denver Nuggets have agreed to a trade.

Dallas sends:
Mike Miller- $9,128,575
Sean Singletary- $442,114
Total- $9,570,659

Denver sends:
Chris Duhon- $5,585,000
Joe Alexander-$2,002,600
Total- $7,587,600

Math works: $7,587,600 x 1.25 + 100,000= $9,584,500 > $9.570,659

Dallas accepts this deal. Duhon is a perfect backup to Rose and it is good to get him back. We also finally get our future SF in Alexander which rounds out rotation very well.

Denver accepts. We love what Mike Miller brings to the table and it gives us the opportunity to pull off a big deal for a PF or C. Terry, Redd, Howard and Miller are now all on the block

The Miami Heat back from the dead, have agreed upon a trade with the Sacramento Kings.

Miami Receives
John Salmons $5,104,000

Total: $5,104,000

Sacto Receives
Kasib Powell $972,581
Jarvis Hayes $1,910,000
Melvin Ely $998,398
Mario Chalmers $700,000
2009 CLE 2nd Round Pick

Total: $4,580,979 X 1.25= $5,726,223

Heat accept, we hate to lose our young PG prospect in Chalmers, but with such a glaring need at SF, Salmons perfectly fits that role, he does a little bit of everything on both ends of the floor, and puts up nasty stats when starting. Also with Brooks on the squad as another young PG, we feel that losing Chalmers isn't as big as it'd look from just an on paper standpoint.

Sacramento Accepts. Chalmers is going to be vital as the bench mob 2.0 is about to be reborn.

King's also cut Jarvis Hayes, he played for Georgia, not welcome here.

Clevelands Accepts, moving these guys have been high on my list for a while since i have no intention of re-signing any of them in the offseason.

Utah accepts. Harpring is a good pro, but we needed to get rid of his contract to stay under the luxury tax threshold for next year. We feel the likes of Korver, Randolph and Miles are ready to step in at the backup SF positions.

To make this deal work, the Jazz also waive Jarron Collins and Brevin Knight

DetrOit accepts

Simple swap that gets us an extra 2nd rounder and some usable FC depth in Moore.

The Bucks accept this deal. While we do get older as a team and even though Ilgauskas is currently injured, we feel that the talent level is similar enough to pull the trigger. We also basically cut a year's payments of Dalembert's contract off the books with the deal.

sorry for being 1 week late, still enjoyin holiday break

I was reading the thread and just wanted to say that the game started before Rip signed that extension so it doesn't apply to the game.. I don't think he was expiring so it doesn't matter.. but thought I would point this out. (Also, my comment has nothing to do with the actual trade.)

I'm not sure if this happened before or after the sim started, but King's do not pick up on Quincy Douby's option for next year.

What til FA and all that to happen.. I was just pointing it out to dcash in case he uses that type of evaluation in future trades (like if Bynum was traded- he's already signed an extension with LAL but the game started before then. It'll make FA a little harder though, with bynum being a FA. But IMO, that's how the game started so it should be played like that.) We should move this to the discussion board if we want to talk about it more.

trades approved.

and yeah, bcortell, u are right about rip. i keep forgetting that stuff. luckily rip wasn't expiring so the benefits of his contract status vs that of boozer still holds weight.
