How about Pedro Martinez?

Post#1 » by AT350Kobra » Wed Jan 14, 2009 4:06 am

I was reading about him being a free agent. He's always been one of my favorite pitchers and I'd personally like to see the Cubs pick him up. What do you guys think or is he all washed up?

What would be the point? I would rather save the money and pitch Marshall. Either acquire Peavy or use the money to sign bullpen help.

No way. He's not worth the risk. He is no longer the same dominant pitcher he once was. I'd rather have Sean Marshall be the 5th starter for cheaper (plus Marshall is a safer bet).

Oh I was under the impression that he still had some gas left.

5-6 with a 5.61 ERA last season. No thanks I'd rather have Marshall starting.
