I really feel like paul millsap would be a spectacular addition. If we could get him in the offseason, I would be giddy. Cruel ruin has a point about getting exact defensive personel. Christie was great while he was here, and I really wish that we could have gotten battier in the artest trade as I look back, but that's beside the point.

We have our scorer in martin, our center in hawes, if thompson pans out, he could be an all-star, garcia is a great guy coming off the bench and filling in for injuries, and beno could be a great backup point. So we need a starting point, a defensive swingman (preferably a 3) and a defensive force. If we sign millsap, draft rubio/jennings and trade for a 3, this could be a contender in 3-5 years. I don't think that OKC has that kind of opportunity to become a great team sooner than us.

I couldn't tell you if Martin, Thompson, Hawes is better than Durant, Green, Westbrook because they are all so young, but the supporting cast of the kings is better than OKC, no questions asked. All we can do is put our faith in petrie and see what happens.
