Houston and LA have agreed to a trade:
Houston outgoing:
Pau Gasol= 15,160,000
Kirk Hinrich= 10,000,000
Joey Dorsey= 797,581
TOTAL- 25,957,581
LA Outgoing:
Lamar Odom-14,148,596
Vladmir Radmanovic- 6,049,400
Kurt Thomas-4,200,000
TOTAL-24,397,996X125%+100K=30,597,495
30,597,495 > 25,957,581

Houston make this deal because the talent gap between Gasol and Odom is not that great on our team, Odom can play 3 positions effectively and we love versatility. Kirk Hinrichs value has dropped
tremendously and we gain a ton of depth which we servely needed.

The Milwaukee Bucks and Orlando Magic have agreed to the following:

Orlando will send:

Jason Kidd -21,372,000
Fred Jones - 797,581
Royal Ivey - 854,957

23,024,538

Millwaukee will send:

Mike Conley - 3,630,480
Richard Jefferson - 13,200,000
Hakim Warrick - 2,119,102

18,949,582 x 1.25 = 23,686,977

The Magic are sad to ship out their floor leader in Jason Kidd but we believe it's necassary in our retooling process. Sometimes you have to take a step back in order to move forward. We wish Kidd the best of luck in Milwaukee.

The Bucks accept. Jason Kidd will pair up with Allen Iverson now to form not only a terrific backcourt, but also over 40 million dollars in expiring contracts. Jefferson, while extremely talented, was one of my long contracts I wanted to get rid of.

The Nuggets waive Allan Houston and pick up Darius Miles. Seems he's not totally broken after all

Accepted, this is a great talent upgrade for me and should solidify my place as the favourite in the league. Odom is an expiring and I'm not exactly confident I can re-sign him. Hinrich/Gasol are perfect fits for this roster.

Does it go by if someone was on a team when the game started or if they are now (pertaining to signing free agents). Was Miles on a roster?

If that is allowed, the Bucks sign Kevin Ollie.

It goes by when we started the game.. even though I think he was suppose to be on my roster.. he's all yours. :D

Dallas waives Maceo Baston.

The Dallas Mavericks, Toronto Raptors and Orlando Magic have agreed to a three way trade.

TORONTO

In

Luke Ridnour- $6,500,000
Luis Scola- $3,100,667
Drew Gooden- $7,153,183
ORL 2011 2nd Round Pick

Total- $16,753,850

Out

Andre Miller- $10,333,333
Sasha Pavlovic- $4,500,000
Nathan Jawai- $442,114
Hassan Adams- $711,517
TOR 2010 2nd Round Pick

Total- $15,986,964

Math Works- $15,986,964 x 1.25 + 100,000 = $20,083,705 > $16,753,850

DALLAS

In

Mike Conley Jr- $3,630,480
Sasha Pavlovic- $4,500,000
Nathan Jawai- $442,114
TOR 2010 2nd Round Pick

Total- $8,572,594

Out

Chris Duhon- $5,585,000
Drew Gooden- $7,153,183

Total- $12,738,183

Math works as there is less coming in than going out.

ORLANDO

In

Andre Miller- $10,333,333
Chris Duhon- $5,585,000
Hassan Adams- $711,517

Total- $16,629,850

Out

Luke Ridnour- $6,500,000
Luis Scola- $3,100,667
Mike Conley Jr- $3,630,480
2011 ORL 2nd Round Pick

Total- $13,231,147

Math works: $13,231,147 x 1.25 + 100,000 = $16,638,934 > $16,629,850

Dallas accepts this deal. We get even younger and cut more immediate salary. We're also ok with losing Gooden, he wasn't to be resigned here and our Australian scouts are intrigued by Jawai. After seeing him up close the think he has a lot of hidden potential.

Magic accept. Getting a PG to replace Kidd was a priority. Miller fits in perfectly with our team and acquiring a backup like Duhon makes it even better. We lose scola, but warrick is more than capable of picking up the scoring lost.

after considering 4 separate veto requests, i have decided to go ahead and indeed veto the houston/la deal. pau gasol is worth a lot more than lamar odom, and kirk hinrich, though some say he is overpaid, is still a quality player. having to also absorb radmanovic's contract while giving up much better players is kind of the straw that broke the camel's back.

There is also the small matter of Chris Mihm being on two rosters with no record of a trade. Could either LA Clippers or Denver clarify the situation?

the magic cannot pick up maceo baston unless they are 2 million under the cap, he recieved the bi annual exemption last year.

Does that mean any team that signs him has to be under the cap? or was it just the magic that used it on him and they can't take him back without his full salary.. if it's the latter, minny will pick him up. if it's the former.. he's still a FA.

That trade was canceled. So he is still with Tor.

I traded him to Denver a while back. I don't know if he then traded him to the clippers or not.

Math works just fine. Baron is not BYC. Jose's BYC doesn't apply anymore as he was already traded once.

Clippers Accept. Although we downgrade in terms of talent and take on Charlie Bell's underwhelming contract, we add a point guard who will work better as a catch and shoot player playing alongside our post oriented bigmen and Slashing wings.

Here's the trade. Mihm should be with LAC then.
