Who should go Baby or Powe?
Baby has the bigger body, but he's prone to stupid decisions. How many times has he already been called for blocking fouls this season? Powe on the other hand doesn't have the range or beefy body, but has a much higher IQ.

cfan, you really gotta work on ur posts, no offense; firs tyou post ridiculous trade ideas and now the easiest question anyone has ever has ever asked-LEON POWE is way better than baby. Baby is undersized and overweight(bad combo). Powe is stronger and is much more intimidating around the basket on both sides of the floor. Why are you even asking this question, neither of them have to go unless we get another big man.

If you've actually been watching the games you'd see that lately Baby has been playing better then Powe. Right now for me its a toss up who should go. Heck I wouldn't shed a tear if both left.
P.S. I don't need any advice from a ballboy bandwagon fan.

I would trade Powe. Powe has regressed, while BBD is improving his game. BBD is a better defender of bigs and a better passer and his jump shot will be very helpful when it becomes more consistent. Powe doesn't pass... he's turned into a black hole, maybe because he's not a good passer? Plus, right now we might be able to get more for Powe.

Agree, oddly enough, since I really like Powe. But long term if Baby keeps weight down and jumpshot going in, he's a better player for what this team needs. I think one will be traded this season since their contracts are up this year and we probably won't resign both. Powe likely is the guy teams ask for in a trade.

I actually like both guys and would love to hold onto both of them, but I understand that is not realistic. I just think BBD would be a better fit in the long run, because of his defense and high BBIQ for a young player.

cfan, I ain't no bandwagon fan. I've been a huge fan of this team since I was about 7 years old. Pierce has always been my favorite player and I was going to about 15 games a year even when they were winning 30 games a year. Just cuz u post more doesn't mean ur a better fan, just means you have no life and you think it's fun to make up dumbass trade ideas that have no significance. Most of your other posts are mocked by everyone else as well.

Re: Who should go Baby or Powe?
In the right deal either player could/should go but I don't think there are really that many deals out there that would make me want to part ways with either player. Long-term I really think it depends on what you're looking for + what the organization's opinion is of Glen Davis being able to control his weight. Although both players are undersized I think they bring very different elements to the table and a lot depends on which other players are brought in to play in the frontcourt. Either way I think they're both ultimately 4th-5th type bigs (on this team) and on average teams either could be a 3rd big man.
As of right now Powe has more value and will likely command the higher salary in the offseason so if he could be moved for a better player than I say go for it. Otherwise I'd try to upgrade the team in other ways.

You started it buddy. I don't go on your posts and act like a jerk. Say what you want, but judging from when you joined it looks like you're a frontrunner fan. You'll probably switch to another team if we don't win the title.

Who cares when people joined? Look at my joined date. I'm a bandwagon fan too according to that.
I choose Powe. I'm not a huge Davis fan. His weight is always going to be a factor and I just think Powe has more potential...

The dude joined right when we got into the finals. There's a big difference.

Just a couple factors to throw into the discussion:
Powe (age 25) / Davis (age 23)
Powe (3rd Pro Season) / Davis (2nd Pro Season)
Powe (Knee Surgeries) / Davis (Fat***)
Powe (age 25) / Davis (age 23)

Nice facts, I didn't realize their is a 2 year age difference between the two. I was really disappointed in Baby coming into the season. You'd figure he'd come in in shape.

cfan get over it, I use to have a diff name but I forgot my password so I made a new one and I really don't care what you think but you're logic makes no sense as to how I'm a bandwagon fan, I've been with this team my whole life so f*** off. It's over.

Re: Who should go Baby or Powe?
it would be hard to let go of powe... but he hasnt made the jump we had hoped this season
if you traded them right now, he would still have the higher value, so it depends whether you want a better player to pair with davis, or a considerably worse player to pair with powe
at this point id be going with the former... as leon has only really been playing 10 minutes a game, if we could get a vet center, or an offensive swingman (signing a center later) it might be worth trading him

1 chill there was no need to attack Cfan in your first post or since then, 2 dont avoid the filter like that, type the word or dont. 3. what was your previous screen name, I'll do an IP check and if it matches im pretty sure we can re-set the password. 4. If your just a banned user, you will be again pretty soon if I don't here back from you.

BBD.
And I don't mean Bell Biv DeVoe - they should have been traded right after their first record.
Powe is a better contributor and a much needed bench post scorer.

We can sit here and debate this all day, but it would be the interest of a team we are trading with to which one they want in a potential trade. The one thing we can agree about is the fact that they kind of bring the same intangibles to this team.

Ya, I agree with this. Rather than decide which to keep, maybe the question is which can we get more for?
Although not the same, they're a bit redundant in the roles they play for us, and limited in terms of roles they can play in the future. I don't think we want either to be backup SF or Center, nor do I think we want either to be a starter at SF, PF, or Center. As backup PF they're good, but we just don't need too many of them, particularly if a Scal is still around, or we get a new/temp backup C that can cover minutes at PF as well.
I really would hope we'd go into next season with no more than one of them, and if neither are on the roster and they've been suitably replaced, I'd be ok with that. No offense to either player intended, both seem solid guys. But they're replaceable in the grand scheme of things.

Everything being equal I'd prefer we moved Baby
