Is there any QB more suited to run a speed offense like Chris Leak?? He ran the Gators fast spread offense all the way to National Champions. START CHRIS LEAK!!!!!!!!

Yeah I was shocked at how overwhelmingly positive he was in that article and his "5 things from bears camp" article. I really like him and respect his opinions. Finally someone looking at whats in front of them and not just tradition (like that Bears have the 24th best running attck bs from espn earlier).

Please keep it in one thread. Besides, did you know that Rex Grossman also went to Florida?

This is a nice article to read. Cliff Levingston was ecstatic when Olsen fell to us; he's going to be huge as a deep threat up the middle in order to draw defenders away from guys like Berrian, Hester, Bradley and Moose.

Someone please cut this guys connection to the internet. Leak is a bum. He has Akili Smith type talent...which means none. And if you are too young to know who Akili Smith is, and it sounds like it, he was a bad QB.

Don't criticize him CL, that was probably before he became a fan.

I am secertly hope that Devin Hester will return a kickoff, punt, catch and rush for touchdowns all in the same game this season.

That would be amazing.

It's certainly possible.

The only thing left would be to return an interception and/or fumble for a TD.

How about an option throw for a TD?

Bears had a real nice offense under Turner back in mid 90's with Kramer, Graham, and Conway, even Salaam/Tillman/Green/Harris and Tony Carter in the backfield.

Now they have much better weapons, I was down on Rexy, but I think this year will be much more consistant, more GOOD REX. I like the addition of Leak to challenge Orton for the 3rd spot. This roster is deep all over. Many bash Orton, but he had a solid rookie year in 05, could start for a lot of teams, and he's 3rd on the depth chart.

Sox have let me down this year, but I still got hope with my BEARS and BULLS. GO CHICAGO!!!

Okay, I think you got it wrong. Orton is actually challenging Griese for the backup QB spot (yeah I know, gasp!) and Leak hasn't been looking good at all in camp...

What teams do you think he can start for? Because then I say we trade him to said team and get something good out of it.

Return to Chicago Bears
