I laughed at that quote as well.

Hell, he proved that long before now.

Darned shame. Delonte was having himself a fine season. Poor kid's got glass bones.

Yeah, Delonte again was going to work. He was CLE's 4/5th most important player. Maybe 3rd depending on how you value defense.

And West is a great guy.

That said I'm perfectly fine with Delonte and Big Z having season ending injuries right now :op

I'm not surprised this happened. I liked Delonte when he was here but always thought he was way too reckless and injury prone.

I'm a tad concerned that this could happen to Rondo because he's taken a share of beatings driving to the hoop. Everytime he gets hit and falls on the ground, I'm always scared that he may not get up.

damn he was on my fantasy team. I'm having a tough time with injuries to ron artest, d west and D.J. Augustin. not to mention my losing gamble that arenas would come back half way through the season.

Heh. He admits it now. That's pretty funny.

But my hate has lessoned since he has transitioned into a role he was meant for - not as our #1 PG of the future. He is okay as a 2 guard/combo guy. Kinda like a better version of House. Actually Rondo sometimes bugs me now. Maybe I just hate PGs.. Haha. Rondo is great but he doesnt' shoot that well. If only we could combine Rondo and D. West..

When Rondo is bad.....Rajon reminds of a "scared Marcus Banks". (Scared to shoot).

Delonte is just too brave for his own good, a wreckless player is a good way to describe Delonte.

Rondo bugs me a lot defensively. Many times I think he just lets the guy blow buy him so he can stick his hand in after he's behind his man... I'm surprised the refs don't call a foul more often for that... but I'm more suprised how often Rondo does it.. just stay in front of your man.. we can play better defense funneling a PG to Perk and KG then Rondo letting then run by him.

Put that way, Pete, I understand/agree with your disrespectment of West. ( I just invented that word.)

Rondo's built a lot tougher but his bones will break, unless he learns to finish w/o crashing. He needs to keep his head up.

You know, I'd like to know Rondo's stats when the clock is at 0, it seems he shoots the lights out w/o a chance to think. Maybe his nerves get in the way when there are options.

Really nice to see Gabe shoot the ball, whether it be from the line or a jumper. it looks like a shooter's form. Hard to ever see that in TA, RR, BB, LP or even Perk.

What ever happened to teaching the mechanics of a jumpshot? Rondo looks like he's putting his arms behind his head to take a nap when he shoots. :o

Sadly, it isn't.
