I was thinking the same thing...then I realize we have Terry Porter on the bench. The players probably didn't think of their coach at the moment. Hill and Nash both ran 3 seconds off the clock after that rebound. Either them, whoever gets the rebound, or Porter is responsible of taking an immediate timeout. Regardless, 3-5 seconds were wasted and they had to rely on a quick jumper from JRich with a hand in his face.

The Suns were tired. They played a huge game last night in Denver. I don't blame them at all.

1. Nash needs a backup.

2. J-Rich has been crap the past 4 games; 21pts in 41 mins, then 7 pts, 16 last night but he had 9 in the 1st quarter, then his worst game as a Sun tonite with just 8. Maybe the DUI charges are on his mind, something must be up.

Well how stupid does the Suns management look after resting Shaq last night for this lost?
Of course he played great, but we would have won with Shaq last night and still lost today. Amare +Nash+Barnes+Jrich stunk it up today.

Suns moved to 5th to 8th very quick. :( I'm scared for this road trip now.

It's a real shame...because the Spurs lost on the road by 22 to the Sixers tonight and The Hornets lost in Cleveland...

Spurs lost by 25 points to Philli tonight and they arent going to commit suicide. Every good team sometimes loses to a bad one, it happens.

I know. Do you notice everytime the Suns lose, The Lakers, Spurs, or Hornets happen to lose that same night. It's just our luck. Suns need, so bad, a double digit winning streak. Usually they don't mean anything in the regular season, but Suns need one to get their fire back.

It has happened too many times this season. And losing at home like this is just not acceptable for a team that wants to win a chip. What an embarrassment. The TO situation has gone beyond rediculous and the lack of focus has gotten so out of hand that it's embarrassing to watch. The Suns just cannot afford these kinds of losses.

Shaq needs to play. If he can't handle the schedule, retire and let someone handle it. I mean, geez, what's the point of resting him now? I love the way he's been playing for us, but his comments are always about how much he has left and how much touches he needs. If Kerr and Porter want to turn this team into Shaq's team, and they did, fine. But if he can't play b2b, what's the f**king point. How upsetting. Why don't play him less minutes for each game instead? Because Porter can't manage his players' minutes? We also have Nash and Hill who is 30+ yrs old already, why just rest Shaq only? If he's in shape, and had claimed that this his team, let him handle his job!!

The thing I don't understand is why do we not just let Shaq play around 20 minutes a game in back to backs instead of playing him in one of two games?
We could have won one out of two instead we lose both back to back games.

good luck with the rest of the season guys!

Don't worry about this loss. The Wolves are hot right now, we're 6-1 in 2009 and all 6 teams' RGM forums had this same doomsday reaction when we beat them.

Do you think the Diesel plays both in TOR and BOS?

i rarely sign in and reply but i wanted to say please don't let nash off the hook guys. he had 1 turnover with 3 minutes left in the 4th quarter that i think cost up the game. also i would like to add AMARE PLEASE BOX OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

nash- below average defender
amare- below average defender
hill- above average defender (our best defensive player)
j-rich - average at best defender
shaq - above average due to size

Now lets get back to amare stoudemire and his defense. how are we going to compete in the playoffs if amare can't shut down or even hold players like craig smith to there average. smith shot 7-10 18 points 7 rebounds. his season averages are 8.9 ppg rpg 3.50. At one point in the game the wolves went at amare with smith just like how other teams go at steve nash because . CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT? THE WOLVES WENT AT AMARE WITH CRAIG SMITH!!!!!!! CRAIG SMITH!!!!!!! and guess what craig smith made most of his points during that stretch. even the announcers said craig smith cannot compete with amare bucket for bucket becauses hes going to lost everytime. you don't hear the spurs announcers say craig smith cannot compete with tim duncan bucket for bucket. BECAUSE ITS CRAIG FREAKING SMITH. lou is the type of player that makes you wonder how and why cant amare defend with that intensity or get rebounds. now dont get me started with steven nash and his defense.

Well, Porter took a red hot Barbosa out of the game when you guys where ahead...

Porter, when Leandro decides to win a game, let him play by himself... lol

Meh I wouldnt worry about a loss like this...

The Wolves are hot, and if we really wanted too, we could kick their butts in the postseason (and they wont be in the postseason).

This team has continually showed we can win back to back's, and thats ok, but we really need to start beating the teams we are supposed to beat, and compete our hardest against the better teams in the league.

Who is 6-1 in 2009

The talent level seperation in the NBA isn't that far apart, and any team can be beat any given night.

the fact that we lost back2back hurts a little bit more. Time to put this behind get ready for TOR. It's gonna a tough game on the road.
