Great opportunity for Pavs to try and salvage his career. I'm not optimistic about that though.

Like others have said, absolutely no reason to panic or freak out and do some knee-jerk trade. I wouldn't even rush him back--let him sit for 3-4 weeks and get fully healthy instead of trying to go at 80% and risking aggravation. The goal is to be healthy in late April-June, not late January.

This also presents Lebron an opportunity to run away and hide with the MVP. If the Cavs can play .550 or better ball without 3 starters for close to a month, that just reaffirms the awesomeness of Lebron. Detroit is struggling, Boston has yet to fully right the ship, Orlando can't maintain their pace IMO, so the East is still very much in our control.

The greatest thing about all of this is that West claims he will be able to play on the West Coast trip. He says he's going to splint it up and he'll be fine. What a warrior; you just have to love it. Of course, doctors will most surely keep him from playing, but you have to love his spirit. Even if he's off the court, he's still is our team's heart.

Very much true, I'd place my bet any day on guys like LBJ and Kobe as guys who can go in any arena and get the W. What people forget is that in the playoffs super stars carry their teams on the road, and role player are needed at home.

Bottom line is there's only 3 teams who don't need home court, that's the Cavs, Lakers and Celtics.

In last three years we have won one series without HCA, lost three. And it's become painfully obvious we are not the same team on the road, we've never been. With HCA AND full health I do believe no team is that good to beat us in a 7-game series. So yeah, I really think HCA is pretty big deal for us...

With West being out 5-6 weeks, it won't be that bad if Pavs and Wally play like they did against the Hornets.

People forget how well Sasha was playing during the Cavs finals run. In fact they generally ran the first play of the game to free him up for a 3 pointer. Somehow he because an absolute idiot last year, but he seems to have come back.

What? During our playoff run that year here are Sasha's averages..

-9.2ppg
-2.6rpg
-1.6apg
-1.9 tpg (turnovers)

-38% fg shooter
-34% 3fg shooter
-53% ft shooter

That is below average production for a starting SG on a team that made it to the finals. Plug Devin Brown into our starting lineup that year and the numbers are probably the same. Sasha is what he is and that is a below-average starter and only an average role player coming off the bench.

I agree with this.

Frankly, look at the difference between our home and road record this year even. We are virtually impossible to beat at home. Heck how many games have we even lost at home in the playoffs recently? I can't even think of one.

The problem is our role players play MUCH better at home, the bench just doesn't get it done consistently on the road and that makes a big difference.

HCA is vital

The last home game we lost was... Game 5 in the first round against Wizards. We lost by 1 in that game.

Some are willing to give Mike Miller and Cardinal for Wally. Check it out. It is all about saving cap.

Also would anyone be willing to do a Snow for Watson/1st(SA pick)[20 to 25th] with OKC. Rumor is they want to get from out of his contractand are rumored to be willing to throw in a pick.
