Baltimore down 9 - they need to put Ed Reed in at WR and try to throw passes to the Pittsburgh secondary now.
Tom Gores' Securus faced a class action lawsuit in 2024. The company engaged in a "quid pro quo kickback scheme" with county jails in Michigan which banned in-person visits in order to maximize revenue from voice and video calls.

Out in the street, not party in the street.

while the steelers are a good team, the ravens are really overrated

first of all, how do you call a TO in the 2nd play after halftime? thats ridicolous...did u not have 15 mins to get your thoughts together?

why were they running with flacco? (on 4th and 1; and that one play that lost em 10 yards)

lastly, where was the short pass game? you cant beat pitt with the deep ball, u have to get em on the slants and crossing routes, there was NONE of this....just bad play calling from balt O....one more thing, flacco sucks, he doesnt read the D at all and throws blindly to his WR, and his WR blow too, they just werent ready for so many passes

Ugh...that penalty on our no-name defensive player was just horrible (not in the sense it was a bad call but in the sense that the Ravens player is an absolute MORON). I mean, it's the 4th quarter. 6 minutes left. We have the ball, 1st and 10, on our own 40. Down 2.

All we needed was a FG for the win....and our idiot of a defender pushes the Steelers player clearly when out of bounds.

Other than that, it was a good game and has been a terrific season for the Ravens. Pittsburgh was simply better tonight, so you have to give them their props.

It would be nice to have a healthy roster, though. Baltimore was just decimated by injuries this season...

Slants/crossing routes = ints. Coaches didn't take any chances with Flacco and we were down 2 pts driving with 5 minutes to go. And that's when Joe the rookie showed up.

Steelers were a slightly better team today and props to them, but if we improve in the secondary and Flacco progresses, next year will be revenge time.

the fact the steelers didnt put them away shows that the steelers have their limitations too...joe the rookie showed up the whole game, he played poorly through out

of course any pass route has the ability to produce int, but i think everyone knows you cant keep trying the deep ball with pitt....its all in the short pass game (which keeps the D honest too) and i think we will see it with larry in 2 weeks

The Steelers didn't put us away because of our defense. Joe sucked throughout the game, but he had bad games in two other Pitt games too, so it was expected. The only way for us to win was for him to hit deep and he didn't. Flacco throwing more across the middle would have probably resulted in more int's and a blowout. Regardless, Steeler defense knew we needed a big play to beat them and they didn't give it to us and that's why they won. Props to them. I think their offense will look the whole lot better against the Cards.

Clark almost took off welkers head. Put McGahee in a stretcher.

NFL should take notice.

And if someone is going to argue that, there clean hits, who gives a crap. A guy not getting up because he can't move isn't what you want in a tackle.

Besides that, congrats to the steelers. Polamalu was the mvp of that game.

Re: The Flacco hate....

Keep these few things in mind. Firstly, after a rough start to the season (as expected...he was a 3rd string QB forced to start from day 1), he finished incredibly strong. We're talking 9TDs and 2INTs over the last stretch of the season (not exactly sure about the numbers).

Secondly, who ever said his job was anything more than NOT losing us games? Anyone who knows anything about the Ravens and their quarterback situation know that that's ALL we expect out of Joe. We know we have a great defense so all we need of him is to not blow the game. Heck, that's all the analysts and commentators have been saying, anyway. Has he been receiving a lot of attention? Well, duh....he's the only rookie QB to win 2 games in the playoffs in the last, like, 40 years. That's impressive under any circumstances.

And finally, as UrbanLegendMD pointed out, Flacco struggled against the Steelers all season. Most quarterbacks struggled against the Steelers this season. Why is it all of a sudden a surprise Flacco had a bad game? Because he was "due", or because he consistently played poorly against Pittsburgh? I'll go with #2.

flacco wasnt reading the defense and just trying to throw to his WR, which was evident througout the game

the game was close due to various reasons (first raven td on a questionable pass interference call, the steeler wr dropping that gimme TD reception, etc)

im not saying ravens are a bad team, im just saying you cant beat the steelers by running on 1st down, 2nd down, and then trying to chug it down on 3rd down....in few plays, flacco had all day to throw and couldnt connect to anyone, it was just bad O play calling

A sweet block doesn't quite make up for dropping a for sure TD + losing a timeout.

true, troy polamalu was injured during the game, but did he stop during his interception return on the 20 yard line? NOOOO. he gutted it out and ran all the way through for the score.
