Nice thread shobe_81, well it looks like we've hit another patch where we can't do nothing right. The Cavs are banged up a little, but at this point we need a win.

Nice game thread!

I think this is a must win game. We have to come out and make a statement on our home court.

As a Cavaliers' fan... The LeBron picture with him and the crab and the shoes was funny to me. This game can go either way. If our team was healthy I'd say we win no doubt. I think Lakers pull away in this one

Wait are you saying you're better than us for a fact?? And don't be so sure that we pull away Monday night, with the way we are playing I see the Cavs winning the game. Besides, we almost always lose to the Cavs.

We better redeem ourselves after these past two games. It all starts on the defensive end and if the Cavs are hitting their threes like they were last night then we are most definitely screwed. I could care less if we play great offensively. If we are playing good defense then the offense will come naturally.

Where did I say that the Cavs were better than the Lakers? All I just said that I think the Cavs would win based off prior games. Like I said, I really doubt we win. Does that mean we are better than you? You're gonna have to wait til June to fully know that answer

i hope kobe doesn't tire himself out trying to guard lebron alot. kobe is older now and trying to guard a guy 3 inches taller, and 50 heavier will take it's toll on him. i appreciate the fact that he loves the challenge, but he needs to leave that to our small forwards.
Only on realgm is 27,000 points, 5 rings, 1 rs mvp and 2 finals mvp considered overrated!

Funny stuff.

I'm thinking we need this one pretty bad. Otherwise three straight losses, two at home, to fellow contenders.

Now, before we all go crazy with boredom, here's some Laker practice news from today.

http://my.lakers.com/blogs/

Perfect 80 degree weather and the NFC Championship game (see: Kobe’s insistence that his Eagles t-shirt hang from his locker) didn’t keep the Lakers out of the gym on Sunday afternoon, not with LeBron James and his Cleveland Cavaliers coming into town on Monday.

Cleveland is perhaps the last, if not the best, contender for the championship trophy that the L.A. has yet to play. After all, the purple and gold have already seen Boston, Orlando, San Antonio, New Orleans, Utah and Houston (and even Denver and Phoenix).
