Knee injury a little more serious than first anticipated. Tough way to start camp. At least the rookies will get some more reps I guess.

I'd like to hear more about the rooks and let them get the experience anyway.

Out of everyone in camp, I'm probably most intrigued by Wynn. Have been since we picked him up. Great physical ability and outstanding size. The head just hasn't caught up. I'm hoping he puts it together now that he's a pro and is in perhaps the best situation in the NFL. He was lucky enough to be drafted by a great organization and one without a clear starting RB. Jackson will get every chance, but Wynn should be right there with him provided he's healthy.

My buddy was listening to a Green Bay radio station and former Packer Harry Sydney said his sleeper prediction for camp this year is DeShawn Wynn. It sure would be nice for one of these guys to step up.

I agree. When you look at the numbers he looks like a steal. Your right, his "head" hasn't been in the game. Maybe getting away from his boys at FLA will be just the medicine. Even if the "light goes on" I don't now how much upside to expect. He isn't that elusive, has never averaged over 5 a carry, and his 40 time doesn't seem to transfer onto the field. His high water mark may be in the Najeh Davenport area.

I wanted to go back and look at some video of Wynn so I checked out Yahoo's NFL Draft section. They had him listed as the 5th highest rated RB in the draft. They had Jackson 11th.

Possibly. Just have to hope one guy steps up. Hopefully Morency gets healthy and maybe he and Jackson can handle the role. If the line provides the holes, they'll be alright.

I think Morency will be a guy that busts out and fans around the league will say, "who?"
