This kid is awesome and its hilarous how many people wrote him off as a bust because he hadnt cracked the NHL sooner. He's going to be like Bertuzzi in his prime (35-40 goal scoring powerforward). Just goes to show DET, NJ and ANA's Thoery of "overriping" your prospects works.

Overrated.

Joking. He is really good. I don't see why anyone would think he was a bust because he didn't make it to the NHL before. He didn't make it because the Ducks were to close to the cap and couldn't afford him. Plus, letting him learn in the AHL first really helped is development.

Let's hope he doesn't turn into another Bertuzzi. Don't need another incident!

well i dont think we should all break out the awards quite yet, but im confident he will be a very good player. I mean he was second overall for a reason
