wwe really likes swagger, 4 months in and he's the ecw champ

i'm a fan of him ... good wrestler. a little too early imo to give a 26 year old that title but the ecw title is really not even that important. still though if he's able to carry matches, which he's shown he can and can cut good promos and be good on the mic .. he'll be moved to raw or smackdown in 2010.

i'd like to see him add a submission hold since he's an all american wrestler and it'll fit his style perfectly but with swagger, morrison, edge, cena, dibiase, and orton the future of the wwe looks good. but they still need to find a giant that can actually wrestle because kane, big show, and undertaker would be here in 5 years.

He has been impressive in his limited time in the company, but a lot of it has to do with circumstance. There is just a complete dearth of heels on ECW. Either they re-hash the Hardy-Henry feud or they elevate Swagger and I think they made the right decision. I will admit I'm mildly surprised that Hardy dropped the title this quickly, I expected him to hold it for another few months then drop it a month or so before the draft where he'll go to Raw, repeating the CM Punk formula. But again, I guess this was just a case of a total dearth of competitors for Hardy.

I'm glad to see that these two will have a re-match at the Rumble meaning that probably neither will be in the Rumble match. Nothing made ECW look more minor league than last year when they had there champion participate in the Rumble match

Swagger is a great talent, he has the total package.
