Suns management/ownership = Worse in the league
First tell me a management in the league that's worse than the Suns. I know there are teams with worse records but those teams are stock piling young players for the future while the Suns have done squat. It's all combined by selling draft picks, drafting, hirings, not resigning players, bad free agency moves, trades, etc...
I'll start off with the recent years going back to last year, since to many bad moves were made before anyway, starting with the KG/Amare swap. If you remember in the summer of 07 a three way deal was going to go down, Amare would have been sent to the Hawks, draft picks to the T-Wolves and KG to Phoenix. This back than was when alot of Suns fans were still high on Amare including Suns management. KG was older but one of the top notch players in the league and Stoudemire was still a poor defender and had knee troubles yet Suns management didn't want to part with Amare for KG, we all see how that turned out now.
The Marion trade, Yeah some might say the trade for Shaq looks decent now but Shaq's going to be a 2 1/2 year rental. Why couldn't the Suns have traded Marion for some young talent/draft picks etc? When Shaq's gone in 2010 either to another team or retired the Suns will be left with one less piece.
The 08 draft, drafting Robin Lopez and Goran Dragic. Even an average everyday fan like myself could tell you those guys were not NBA material. I knew taking Lopez at the #15 pick was going to be a waste, look at all the guys the Suns passed on who have more potential or are currently better than Lopez,
Marreese Speights
Roy Hibbert
JaVale McGee
J. J. Hickson
Alexis Ajinça
Ryan Anderson
Courtney Lee
Kosta Koufos
Serge Ibaka
Nicolas Batum
George Hill
Darrell Arthur
Donté Greene
Mario Chalmers
DeAndre Jordan
Luc Richard Mbah a Moute
Anyone of those guys listed about would have been a better pick than Lopez...
Now Dragic, he may be a smart guy that can speak 5 languages but speaking 5 languages doesn't get you anywhere in the NBA. There were plenty of second rounders who would have been better choices and spending all those draft picks, time and money on Dragic doesn't appear to be good.
The hiring of Terry Porter, we all know he got this job just because he's Kerr's best friend just like Kerr is Rob Sarvers college drinking buddy. There were plenty of more qualified coaches out there and heck the Suns could have even given the coaching job to a guy who's never coached before and he most likely would have been better than Porter.
Anyway there's plenty more but that's enough to get you thinking. Seems like Sarver/Kerr/Dave Griffin are destroying the Suns...

Robin Lopez had good workouts for every team and he is like a varajo that fets the SUns needs, but i guess he is not as good as advertised

Yeah but the Suns should have gone after the best player available, not a energy player with no upside which they thought Lopez was, he's actually the opposite. Slow, lazy, out of plac, poor defender, etc...

MaryvalesFinest can't you just make a thread and label it " Maryvalesfinest Complaints about Suns", so we can only have one thread instead of making a new one after every single game? LOL

But very few, if any, known coaches who are willing or able instill defensive discipline. At best they only talk about it with little clue to how to train players. Might even be harder to find someone who actually is self-creative on offense who can create schemes no one has seen before.
SUNS are just too predictable.

Only thing screwing up this team is the ownership. This team would be dangerous if we had a solid coach. Can you imagine this team, mainly JRICH, with Coach D.

Kerr should have known you can't take an all offensive team and try to turn them into a defensive team. He wants to get the Suns to play defensive but Porter's Bucks coached teams were bad in defense, also trading away almost every defensive player wont help and it looks like the only reason Porter got the job was because he's a friend of Kerr.

You can get any coach in the world( popovich, P. jackson) and they still wont play defense any better. Suns just dont have the right players to play solid defense, but if you throw out Amare, Nash and Barbosa and substitute them with solid defenders that can also score then you might have urself a championship calibur team.

It's gonna be so sad next year when this team just completely crumbles and is a lottery team with no young assets at all
Gonna be a long time till we are a contender IMO if Sarver and Kerr are still around

--- Now, now - you kids play nicely or we'll make you watch the boston game again ....
MVF - your list of cripplingly bad moves doesn't go back near far enough. The JJ situation was badly mishandled and the roster has been horribly mismanaged for years.
We had a GM who overpaid for marginal talent, wouldn't play rookies even if we had any(he was also the coach) and an owner who consistently sold draft picks for cash.
So this is where that leads you. The players we gave away would now be experienced and ready to contribute - instead we have to pin everything on kids like Dragic, who may well be a fine player .. a few years from now.
Suns FO has managed to combine the worst aspects of both the Clippers and TWolves management.
I do give Kerr credit for JRich, Amundson and Barnes. All that is negated by his hiring Porter though.

You mean like Boris Diaw, Raja Bell, Kurt Thomas, Shawn Marion or Joe Johnson ?

No, I think he meant those guys ALONGSIDE the superior defensive players to REPLACE Nash, Amare and Barbosa.
That means you would have a team of good defenders without liabilities at any position.
