Like someone on this forum said earlier, that star players dont just grow on trees, I have absolutely no problem with his offensive game, he doesnt need to work on that. Just defensively if he can just start grabbing a couple more rebounds and become a 22-10 player then everything will be fine. He is just too inconsistent in rebounding, some games he will grab 8-10 rebounds while other games only 1-3 boards and you just think to yourself how is it possible for a player that size playing 35-40min a game only grab 3 boards?

Yeah that inconsistency he has sucks, but he will put this game in the back of his mind forever. Amare usually shows up in national televised games, and today he was a ghost. I expect him to take his troops to find some bannannas in the East, and get their gorilla faces on now.

Man, it's too bad the Celtics drafted him.

Nash couldn't stay in front of a freight train. Quick guards (and most others) blow right by him. He is on their hip at the foul line. His only defense is taking a charge. I love the guy for what he brings, his attitude, desire, etc... but he is a flopper. A flopper out of neccessity, for he can do little else.

mkot....Miller and Harlan blasting the Suns management, basically kinda highlighting what we all have been screaming about. Nice.

I missed it.... would have been the highlite of the eve. The facial shots of Kerr had me visualizing a pie fight

Well we screamed our arses off, that's for sure. Some idiot who looked like Jack Black tried to be a funny bugger and was barking at Shaq yelling "DIESEL!" for a good 10minutes. Surrounded by green it probably wasn't the best idea to yell abuse so all you can do is yell "JACK BLACK! I loved you in School of Rock" and it looked like it annoyed him...success.

Man it was an awesome game to be at though, and we managed to get close-ish. I slapped Barnes and got a high five from Dudley...sigh...NF33IH got close enough to feel the myst off Grant Hill, so needless to say he's not washing for some time haha

Loved Lou's hustle and whenever he did something right we screamed LOOOOOOOU

Why are ya'll so pissed? They got demolished by, regardless of Boston's record, the best team in the league. Until the Lakers, Magic or Cavs beat them at the Garden then the Celtics are still the best in the league.

The only thing you should be angry about is Stat. Coming with what has to be the worst game of his career. But was it just him or the Celtics defense too, cuz I look at the box score and it looks like Nash, Shaq and Amundson were the only ones that had a good game.

Because we are a proud group of Suns fans who will not be satisfied until Phoenix gets its first ring, and that won't be possible until we can beat EVERY team in the NBA in a 7-game series. This game...was not evidence of that, to say the least.

I'm going to end this thread with this. This completely sums up the game.

Also, how stupid he looks after making those gorilla comments, and will step his game up to the next level. Like I said, I'm happy for this loss, but at the some time I was pissed seeing my team losing to the champs. Kg and Amare got beef and KG won this battle.

Amare explodes against our old coach next game, I miss you Coach D.

Seriously, take your head out of your backside.

What about Amare's makeup to this point would even begin to indicate that that is what he's going to do? You speak in such ridiculous generalities and ignore everything that has accumulated to this point.

We've had 7 years now of this nonsense. A true superstar would've rounded out his game by now. He's profusely obsessed with being mentioned with the LeBron's and Kobe's but have you ever seen those two players accumulate more turnovers than points and rebounds in a single game?

Seriously, the Amare lovers need to stop suckling on his nipples and wake up.

Jdiddy701 wrote:This game was more then just a game to Amare. He hates KG, they hate each other. They used to have soo much respect for one another until Amare got a career high against them one year. I forgot when, but Amare was a youngster. Ever since then, they been yapping back in fourth to each other. Amare was shut down today.. It's beasting time. Like I said, I guarentee it. What way better to have an awesome game against your old coach. :D Let's go Suns! If Cards can do it, we can as well.

AND for the record, Amare CAN play defense, Amare CAN rebound, Amare CAN block shots, but does he have the passion to? Defense isn't something that's taught, it's all effort. Amare will bring that effort now. Don't give up on him just yet.

It's scary how much you think you know what Amare is thinking. That is precisely where you cross the line of your fanhood. Quick note: You're not Amare.

Well I've got news for you he been hearing this for a very long time now and when does he ever step up and finally become a "decent" defense player? Same old Amare from 7 years ago to now. Only cares about point, points, points and that's about it. Don't you understand that he'll never become a great defense player that he says he will. Amare says he will be better defensively every frickin year and shows nothing on the court.

I don't doubt that Amare will bounce back from this game, and he'll probably play with passion and fire....for a couple of weeks. However, we can't afford for him to "bring the effort" for weeks at a time when he's had 7 years to do it consistently. Seven years...

this kinds of losses tend to wake teams that do have the potential of greatness... well see what were made of now....

I hope they are embarrased... cause they should..... my only concern, being a Shaq fan... is his attitude towards regular season games, i hope hes not influencing this guys with that BS... they have not won anything, so they cant be cruising through the reg season.....

Well see....
