ehhh, its only a 10 day contract. I hope they keep this spot open for 10 day contracts until we find a good backup at the right time. Wait to see who gets waived.

please tell me Shaun Livingston legally changed his name to Courtney Sims.

Oh well, give the kid a shot, he is pretty much the best player in the NBDL anyways, he is 3rd in scoring but has a better FG% then the 2 players better then him, he leads the league in rebounds, and is 2nd in overall Pts+Reb+Asts.

Suns were probably better off moving Amundson to 5 and Barnes to 4, then letting Dudley backup Hill.

The Suns have become such a joke of an organization I just don't know if someone is joking or not anymore.

Are you serious?

I honestly expect very little help from Sims, we have Dudley already who doesn't get a lot of minutes as it is.

From the article:

They had to get back to the 13-man roster minimum Tuesday and can sign Sims to two 10-day contracts before having to keep him for the season or cut him. They could rotate the 13th spot among different players on 10-day contracts for the season.

Here you go. Don't expect anything from Mr. Sarver.

Nice signing. Dude was leading the D-League in rebounding, he's young, he's hungry. Hopefully he's the next Amir Johnson. Also I'm glad we signed a big. Shaq, A'mare, Amundsen (who sucks), and Fropez (who Porter won't play yet) are the only bigs on the roster. Even if you think having just 4 bigs is enough (debatable), you have to admit that Fropez would be better served playing starter minutes in the D-League. Enter Sims.

As for the PG issue, the problem is that after the J-Rich trade, most of the minutes available for Barbosa are at the 1, which leaves no minutes for any other PG. Once the Suns deal LB, they'll be able to sign a PG.

I'm glad we signed another big, but Amundson definitely doesn't suck.

Thats just it, we have 4 bigs, and only 2 pg's, and in reality we only have 1 and thats Nash (Barbosa is a true SG not a PG). we should have signed a point guard.

Amundson makes plays and plays hard. In the Boston game, he's about the only player that seemed to give a damn. Lopez *might* become a better player down the road, but at this moment, Amundson should be ahead of Lopez in the rotation.
