Thank god Carmelo Williams set Memo up with the ball.

Yeap... about time he remembered that he's the one running the team... by the time of that play I thought he hasn't been properly running his team for a long stretch...

On real note I thought Deron was taking an awesome less turnover direction, slowly getting under or at 3. Then he had 5.3 turnovers in the last 3 games...he is never gonna be one of the best if he cant take care of the ball, he has an awful A/TO.

Jazz fans will have to realize that Deron has a couple of flaws with his game... he yoyos the ball high and away from him... he's not a very good fastbreaker... he has a tendency to slow down way too much... he drives well but he finishes a great deal of the drives with tough lateral shots...
And IMHO some of these flaws are becoming obvious because somewhow he hasn't been playing the pick and roll as much as he should... it seems Boozer's absence is affecting Williams more than any other player.

And even though he is not that great, he is still better than the overwhelming majority of point guards, perhaps Kidd or Nash might be better at some sectors but not in their totality as to Williams.

Turnovers are bad, but the team with the best PG in the league, and with a much more healthier team this season is 4 games away from us.

But how often does he get turnovers due to dribbling? Perhaps 1 a game, more so 1 ever 2 games. Its forcing the ball and poor decisions that he is making that are making his TOs higher. Of course there are rare games where he cant hold on to the ball dribbling (look at the 8 TO game). I can see where you're coming from, but I respectively disagree with your assessment of Derons flaws. He is no Jason Kidd on the fast break, but he is still very good at reading his options. I just think he has struggled with his decision making for most of the season. I dont think its an ability thing, but a mental thing. He is just making poor decisions.

- Yes, he's certainly better than the overwhelming marjority of PGs; IMHO there are only 6 other PG at his level or beyond (in no order Parker, Billups, Nash, Paul, Rose, Kidd).

- 4 games away... and the next 6 games include Rockets, Nuggets and Blazers on the road, and Cavs and Spurs at home... and the last 9 games of the season includes 6 games away against Blazers, Nuugets, Hornets, Mavs, Spurs, Lakers...

The Jazz do not have it easy; and I certainly expected a little bit more from Williams, Jazz this season... not Championship, I didn't expect that... but I expected not to lose games against Thunder, Knicks, Wizards, Bobcats, Milwaukkee... or Bulls,Heat at home...

Sheik you're right... I forgot the decison making... and the mental thing (confidence dwindling??)
Man... now our 2 max guys are very good players... I'm not such a big Boozer fan but I'm sure our 3rd max guy will give us more for the money than any one of the actual 2...

You know Deron said he learned alot from other players this summer in the olympics. HMM WHich ones?

I for one am glad we should have nobody in the allstar game, and I hope we dont get any olympic commitments this summer. This team needs rest.
