Is Vince Carter the greatest last shot player????

Post#1 » by carmelo115 » Mon Jan 19, 2009 2:38 am

Carter has to be hands down the greatest last-second shot player ever since Jordan. This is not counting the whole fourth quarter but the last shot. Two long threes against Toronto, one three against Utah, dunk against Charlotte(after Kidd's air ball).

Heres a video for all you to watch:

Thats not even half of his gamewinners that he had throughout his career man that's crazy.
Bring him home BC!!!!!!

I would say he is one of the best active "miracle" shooters.

i remember VC as a raptor in one season where we won a bunch of games when he took over and just put the team on his back and got us a W. But that was a long time ago, and i guess maybe my memory is sketchy, since soon after he turned into a pussy.

well not early in his career, but he has changed that the last couple of years since joinin the Nets, id rather have him take a shot todat rather than anyone, yup thats right even before kobe, and some of those other high priced players, iv seen kobe and he has missed a few tis year,

on a sidnote member last year when he missed one of 3 free throes and we beat the lakers at LA, check ur archives...

sixers?

LOL the subliminal message in this thread is hilarious.

[REALITY CHECK] - Vince carter is never coming back.

Dreaming and fantasizing about something that impossible just creeps me out. Are the photoshopped vince signatures and avatars really necessary? WEIRDOS.
Enjoy it while it lasts.

Whether you like VC or not, the simple answer to this is yes. He's the greatest last shot player... since MJ anyway.

How is the answer to this so definitive? Vince has 15 career game-winning buzzer beaters. Not one, not two, not ten. 15. Marv and Mike brought this up during a timeout in the YES network's coverage of a recent game (though I can't quite pinpoint which game it was).

this is true, but rather have VC, Miller was just a solid jumpshooter, where as u saw in the toronto game he catches an alley-hoop to win the game...

sorry buddy but i was at the 2001 nba playoffs game 5 nets vs pacers double OT game when Reggie dunked over FOUR nets players to send it to the 2nd OT. Oh and i almost forgot, he hit the three from 40 feet to send it to the first overtime.
