It's great seeing this team really come together, just looking at our upcoming sked and some random thoughts about Artest and Mac coming back:
Fri 23 @ Indiana
Sun 25 @ Detroit
Mon 26 @ New York
Wed 28 vs Philadelphia
Sat 31 vs Golden State
Tue 03 vs Chicago
Wed 04 @ Memphis
Sat 07 vs Minnesota
Mon 09 @ Milwaukee
Wed 11 vs Sacramento
Tue 17 vs New Jersey
Out of the next 11 games we play, only one team (Detroit) has a record above .500
With Mac and Artest still recovering, I am all for keeping them out even longer until they are both fully, completely, and unequivocably 100%. The way we are playing now we can beat every one of those teams without them. As nice as it would be for us to start integrating them into the line-up as soon as possible I'm still conerned with T-Mac (not so much Artest) coming back just a little too soon.
T-Mac shouldn't worry about coming back for the NY game, he needs to take as much time as he needs and get physically and mentally ready because once he comes back we need to see the T-Mac of old out there
Regardless...whoever we have out there it is IMPERATIVE we do some damage during this next stretch. With how the West standings are, every game is crucial

Re: Upcoming schedule
True, but we should just look at each game one at a time and build the team's confidence and win count.
The road trip will not be easy:
Indiana beat us earlier in the season, and whilst they are very inconsistent, they have beaten the top teams and have had misfortune in the close games.
Detroit aren't playing well at the moment and are focussed on going small. They are a shadow of their former selves, but they are still there or thereabouts. A game we're gonna have to fight to win.
New York in New York again is one we should win, but the Knicks in Gallinari have someone else who can play. That makes them dangerous and us susceptible if they get hot. That said, if Yao can get over playing a third game in four nights, he should kill them.
I'd take 2-1 if offered.

If Tracy plays, 6-5.

I think you can throw records out of the window when you hit the road. Every team is a lot better at home than they are elsewhere. So that loss to Indy....well...its exactly what I expected b/c the beat us in Houston...only natural that they beat us at their place.
