we need a new coach. period.

its clear that amare is not a franchise player, so get rid of him too. how is the health of brand?

No, you're mistaken. Amare isn't a franchise player under this current system. His skillset is not proper for the way theyre utilizing him. Therefore, under a Porter regime, he's not a franchise player.

If you get rid of Porter or Kerr (or both, hopefully), Amare's deficiencies will be masked and his strengths utilized, just like they were under D'Antoni.

no excuses on his rebounding and immaturity inside the court. he is still a great player but just not a leader or a franchise player.

damn, i was wrong with porter.

I believe that 2 awful defenders (Nash, Amare) in one lineup is just too much.
it was covered at times by Marion and Raja (at his prime) but with the current lineup, we can't stop even the bottom dwellers...
loses to bad teams, and narrow wins over other bad teams. we are just a horrible defensive team.

As much as I dog the guy, I do believe that coaching has alot to do with Amare's game and as well as his effort. Amare is immature, if he isn't happy, he won't give effort. We all know he takes games off here and there, but a string of crappy game that's been happening since the month of December? I don't know. I've read he's been working out hard in the offseason and he's healthy. To have this many 4 rebounds games as he's been getting is really uncharacteristic for him. We talked about MikeD not holding Amare accountable, Porter sure is not doing any better if not worse.

Also, here's his comment after the game

"We had energy," Porter said. "We just didn't sustain it."

Well, Porter, you know, that's how your awful rotations effected the outcome dumbass. He needs to look no further than Shaq's game tonight. Shaq was playing great the first 5 minutes, but Porter didn't give him any rest until near the end of 1st quarter. He then put him back in about 11 minutes into the 2nd quarter. So there's only 4 minutes rest between quarters for a guy this big and this old? 3rd quarter Shaq was obviously tired but Porter still kept him on the floor for 10+ minutes. Well, at least he made a sub in the 3rd quarter this time? Hooray!! By the 4th quarter Shaq was gassed and was missing shots, bricking FTs, and committing TOs. Total 38 minutes for Shaq including 3 stretches of 10 minutes straight. His 2nd half numbers: 1-4 FG, 1-4 FT, 3 Pts, 3 TOs.

Good job Porter!!

And only 16 minutes for LB. Not enough. I don't care the +/- but LB needs to get about 30 minutes a game. He's not given enough opportunities and PT from Porter.

Either have Porter resign or fire his ass. But with his relationships with Kerr, I'm not sure a nasty losing streak would even help...and I hate to see my team losing.

Yea I really hope the Suns can aquire JVG or a good coach with a good team defensive scheme.

This Suns team is arguably the most talented in the league. They have the most offensively potent starting 5 in the NBA, and the players cant even muster to play even mediocre defense. Thats a coaching problem...Phoenix doesnt have the individual talent to be a great defensive team, so they need to play good team defense.

Charlotte's 10-11 since the trade, we're 10-8. Win win?
