I dont see your argument as neither PG has proven they can carry the load over the course of a full season.

I never said its Ford or Calderons job to lead the team [b], all i said was Calderon cannot carry the load of being a starting point guard because he doesn't have the tools. Nothing to do with leading the full team. And TJ Ford has proven he [b]can carry the load in 05-06 with Milwakee and 06-07 with Toronto, playing almost every game and [b]leading both teams to the playoffs. [b]

TJ Ford did not lead any of those teams to the playoffs, he was simply part of a good team. I dont care what happened 3-4 years ago, right now TJ Ford cannot carry the load, he couldnt do it last year for the Raptors and he sure as hell isnt doing it this year.

TJ Ford hasnt proven anything in his career except for the fact that you have no clue how he is going to perform from day to day.

He is still young and has a chance to become a solid starter but he isnt showing he has the tools or the durability to be counted on as a starting PG. In my books if you cant count on your starting PG being healthy and playing consistently you cant win games period.

You said "I dont see your argument as neither PG has proven they can carry the load over the course of a full season", I simply gave you 2 seasons proving where he could carry the load of being a starter and now you write "I dont care what happened 3-4 years ago" because you get proven wrong? You are a very classy man.

Thats taken out of context, my point was Tj Ford didnt "carry" either of those teams to the playoffs, he was simply on a playoff team.

The bit about how TJ Ford cant carry a team right now is a point not even you can argue. I understand your frustrated with the facts but there is no need to personally attack me or call my character into question because you dont agree, thats just uncalled for and pretty childish IMO.

U mean like making tasteless remarks at my expense even when I haven't posted? And then covering it up by saying oo but I was just joking. Again I say your a classy man IMO.

Anyways, TJ may not have "carried them" straight to the playoffs, but he was seriously an integeral part in them making it. And no Milwakee was not simply a playoff team at the time as with the departure of TJ they followed up next season with an astonishing 28-54 record. And neither was Toronto as Toronto missed the playoffs 5 years straight before the arrival of TJ.

It would behoove TJ to stay healthy for an extended period. I think when he gets into a rhythm in the system and gets comfortable with the guys around him, he could be very dangerous. But he simply cant stay on the court. Thats why he was so successful in the two seasons he played almost every game.

I made a joke that you pick TJ Ford for ever Pacesetter, even you said you thought it was funny. That is not the same as personally attacking you, the fact that wold would even bring that up from a past topic shows you are not interested in this topic.

Ive made my point and it is clear you are too emotional to discuss anything regarding TJ Ford so ill leave it at that.

^ Nice try. I said I thought the first post was funny, but the second post was very distastefull and needless and the implications had further intent. How does me bringing that up show that I am not interested in this topic? I only brought it up because you said my post was "uncalled for" and "there is no need to personally attack me" which I thought was funny because it screams hypocrit.

Agreed. Just before he got injured he was in a serious groove and was just getting comfortable with this system. Now that he is trying to fight through injuries yet again he seems to have lost that groove for now.
