Europa, you can't honestly think that finding a player of Lopez's caliber is easy. If that's the case Why the hell did we draft Bogut number one. We could have had "him" anywhere anytime. We should have traded the number one to NO for Paul and their second. With their second we could have drafted a Bogut.

I believe that finding a competent backup center shouldn't be that difficult. Maybe that center isn't as good as Lopez but he probably won't need to be. And if we're talking about Lopez playing alongside Bogut, then I think it would be even easier to find a quality PF. I just don't think passing on Brook Lopez is worth getting all worked up about. Yes it hurts the team presently but I don't believe it will hurt the team long term if Hammond does his job.

And again, I think Bogut's upside is considerably higher than Lopez's. That's why he went No. 1 in his draft and Lopez dropped all the way to 10th in his. You guys are acting like I'm the only one who had/has questions about Brook Lopez. The guy fell all the way to 10th in a draft that wasn't exactly overflowing with major stars - especially at the center position. There had to be a reason why so many teams passed on him so it's not like I'm the only one who had questions about him.

So you're now citing the regime "with their heads up their asses" choosing someone #1 overall as solid evidence to his value? Nice.

I think the previous regime had its head up its collective ass the past two years. It's my belief Hammond will be smarter (possibly much smarter) and we'll continue to see better moves than we saw the previous two years.

Hammond has delivered us Elson and Allen. We still have trash behind Bogut.

Before Europa comes back with a he was the consensus top two pick I'd like to add something. He was a consensus top two pick in the media. Just like Lopez was a consensus top 5 pick in the media. Maybe if Bogut isn't drafted by the Bucks he falls to 5 or 6 like Lopez.

I have found that type of post from you VERY understandable in the past, but in this instance I didn't expect it. Those guys have unfairly picked on you in the past, but in this case it seemed like they were just besting you in a discussion/debate.

I had a kid at a young age and she's now a teen and she'll sometimes send me emails or texts and it makes me feel old when i'm guessing at some of her abbreviations.
