He's gone. This is inexcusable.

I don't know how any front office could put up with this............

God forbid they could've hired somebody with a basketball mind......and IQ........and the ability to confront these players..........

I still say EJ should've been the next head coach.

if we want to make the playoffs we must get rid of Porter. This is our last chance. We can't lose like this anymore and still want to make the playoffs.

Please........for the love of God..........people stop talking playoffs. Are you watching the season? When you watch games do you only see the Suns score?

People, we have to think about this logically. EVERY SINGLE PLAYER on the Suns roster has proven himself throughout his career EXCEPT FOR PORTER AT COACHING!!! Its as simple as that. He has to go, he's in over his head. Its too late to start second guessing Amare's effectiveness as a player, or Barbosa's or Nash's. We've seen what those guys can do, we KNOW they can play great. We KNOW Shaq and Hill are still good. Barnes and Amundson are warriors. J-rich has proven himself over his career as well.

Porter has not shown to be an effective leader or coach. He's just not cut out for this, he has to be let go. I bet the team comes together after his firing too, maybe enough to get us back in the playoffs....hopefully.

Seriously guys, i mean think about this for a moment. Imagine if Gregg Popovich was coaching this team? I know theres no way that would ever happen, but do you think for a split second that someone of his caliber would have this team mindling in missing the playoffs? With Shaq playing as well as he is? NO FREAKING WAY! FIRE PORTER!!!

Hypno,

It takes more than "skills" to win games. You have to have the mental edge. None of these guys have it anymore. They're old and in the face of adversity they sh*t their pants or just don't care.

Get off their jocks. The whole team is rotting.

Dude, for you to sit there and say EVERY player on our team has lost their ability to play basketball is (Please Use More Appropriate Word). You were probably saying the same about Bell and Diaw, look at them kicking our butts right now!

The one thing I said about those players is that they checked out mentally when they were with us........this has proven true, as you can clearly see by their performances on their new team.

I never said anything about skills - you just seem to be hooked on that like crack cocaine. It ain't about skills anymore. It's about heart and the mental edge. These guys have none of it and they continue to show you it game after game. You just refuse to acknowledge it.

They have no heart cause their coach is a moron. "Mental edge"? Wtf?

Theres not a player on the team you can look at and say isn't as hungry for a title as they ever will be. Shaq's playing with more passion than ever. Hill and Barnes too. So if you are pointing the finger at Nash, Amare, and Barbosa; their probably wondering what the frick happened to their contending team, but to say they have given up is ridiculous.

What about their performances have you missed here?

Stop making excuses for them. When you get beat down like this night after night it means you've lost your mental edge. All these players are athletic and got into the pros. What separates them is what is going on upstairs.

Let me guess, you probably voted online for Amare to go to the All-Star game?

Agreed. Tomorrow, Porter will no longer be coach. Please hire a white guy to coach.

I've heard enough of all this. Porter will be coach tomorrow. And the day after.
It's not a matter of whether he should be in the position, it's that he's not getting fired.

Yes. Then we could continue to look at that dumb azz, befuddled look on his face and his "Bubba," mush-mouthed interviews.

I'm gonna be sick.

Ever watched Sarver during a game? Don't count on him maintaining the status quo.

I still maintain EJ should've been an assistant coach at the very least instead of Thunder Dan. He would've kept Amare in.

I hope you're right. I beleive in (most of) the players on this team. I don't necessarily think this is all on Porter or that he is a bad coach, but he is clearly not working out
