Yea, you're right. It's not worth getting upset about. Some people will never change unfortunately.

Thanks xTitan.

I haven't read all of this thread, but in general I don't think you're being paranoid. There are a few people on here who are almost pathologically antagonistic (but don't seem to be aware of it). Of course many others don't have an issue with you even when they have a different point of view, and I think that's important.

Yea I lost sight of that. Thanks for reminding me. I got some upsetting personal news today and I've been having a rough day. I probably allowed my emotions to get the best of me here and let people get what they want and that's to get under my skin. I shouldn't have let that happen.

darn, i thought i would be able to fill the void of Europa's absence with some of my words of wisdom. But before i finished proofing my post, i saw he came back. has anybody noticed this is only my third post in these 10+ pages?

I recal somebody saying that if this thread went over 100 pages, kohl would have to agree to the real gm posting rules and ok the deal. is it possible he ok'd the deal and we were all arguing with one another we missed it on the wire?

I don't mind people coming and going. but next time a person leaves and decides to come back can he bring a coke and chips back with him for me? and some french onion dip ..

thanks, in advance.

There is absolutely no doubt that happens and it happens consistently.

To this point, I've fought against that but I'm too tired to keep fighting. I want to continue to enjoy watching this Bucks team and I can't do that posting here. So congrats to midranger and drug bust and jerrod and adam and insideout and twirl and all of the rest of you who didn't want me here. You win.

Good luck to the Bucks the rest of the season. I hope they do well.

you copied and pasted that, didn't you?

Five minutes later I'm still laughing out loud. Bravo.

I'm sorry to hear that and I hope the personal news isn't something that's an ongoing situation. Either way, it's understandable if your tolerance levels were reached today.

Like most things the Senator's ownership of this team has been dysfunctional.
If there was a trade in place I think Memphis probably has rejected whatever counter offer the Bucks made to keep Joe Alexander or whatever small forward or shooting guard the Senator has fallen in love with.

You don't win titles with SF and 2G , but why would this guy know that when he knows zero about basketball.

We all know the history here. Conley is going to become exceptional and we are going to look back on this as another example of Kohl's meddling screwing things up.
I just don't understand why fans in this town don't say enough is enough with this guy.
Why hire Hammond, one of the top player personnel guys in the league if you are not going to let him do his job.

Because Kohl and Bucks fans don't understand a trade doesn't mean Jack. We don't know what the hell were talking about. There is no one on this board who would have thought the trade the Pistons made to get Billups at the time was good one.

Two things that will not shock me are (1) Hammond getting out of here soon....
and second Skiles blowing up he is not going to put up with this roster of me me me guys who refuse to guard anyone much longer.

It's my understanding that viritually every owner has to sign off on deals, and Hammond said he thought that was a good thing. I only want assurance that nobody else in Kohl's circle is being asked to look it over.

Yes if there are "Big COntracts Involved" or "controversal personalities involved". Not when it comes to talent evaluation, that is why you hire a GM.
Mickey you 100% correct. It is a bad sign.

Chauncey Billups.
Steve Nash.
Have they had good careers.
Billups was run out of three towns before landing in Detroit.

aboveAverage wrote:This deal sucks plain and simple. We're trading away a point guard who is better than Conley at this point, who is only in his second year, and has potential to be our starter for a long time. Not to mention we're throwing in a top 10 pick who we have not allowed to develop at all. I hate this deal and I will be very disappointed if Hammond pulls the trigger on this.

For once I hope to God that Kohl voids this trade.

Offensively Sessions has been better, but despite his struggles offensively Conley has been a better ball defender.
Sessions defensive limits is why Skiles is not enamored with him.

They dodged a bullet when both were gone before they picked. PLEASE don't screw it up and acquire one of them. PLEASE! Especially when Sessions is as good or better than Conley and from the looks of things, it will always be that way.

And what's up with saying Conley is a good defender? If he was, he'd be starting over Lowry, I'd imagine. I don't think even the Memphis fans believe he's a good defender. Maybe on the Bucks he'd be considered good, for in the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.

Anyways, like I mentioned in the previous thread, I'm only on board if we get a top 10 pick back, breaking down the trade in this manner:

Sessions for Conley
Alexander for a top ten pick.

Lets see talent evaluators....who do I go with an NBA lifers like Hammonds and Skiles or SupremeHustle. Whose judgement would I go with?
Tough one for me but Skiles and Hammond. There is no way Sessions will ever start for Skiles.

I don't know why some are hyping up Sessions. To me he turns the ball over too often at crucial times. He had an awful game today and seems more like scoring guard than can dish out some assists.

Conley 18/6/4/2 tonight on 5-8 shooting in 30 minutes tonight.

Oh, don't think I'm not going to be tracking it since Ivaroni got fired.

Yeah, I've been way off on Conley and Brewer so far.

I don't know if you only watch games very rarely, but he really doesn't turn the ball over that much. He and Ridnour turn it over at the same rate, and they both do a good job of protecting the ball compared to other NBA PGs.
