Seahawks linebacker Leroy Hill faces a misdemeanor charge for marijuana possession after authorities found him passed out behind the wheel at an intersection in suburban Atlanta, according to authorities.

Hill, arrested at around 4 a.m. Saturday, posted $1,500 bond and was released, Douglas County Sheriff Sgt. Dwayne Taylor said.

"He was at an intersection passed out behind the wheel," Taylor said. "The deputies conducted an investigation and found two bags of marijuana in the car."

Authorities also cited Hill for having a faulty taillight. They did not test Hill for driving under the influence of alcohol, Taylor said.

I'd still want the team to resign Hill, but I wonder if this makes it a nonstarter for Ruskell. Maybe this whole situation will keep Hill's market value below stratospheric levels?

This basically falls under "the timing of this sucks" category. As good as Aaron Curry may be, our #4 pick will basically prove to be a lateral move, which would suck because we don't get the chance to draft this high on the board often. You want a major upgrade at a needed position with such an opportune pick.

Past out behind the wheel driving a 75' crapliner? what the hell? That doesn't sound like he just smoked out. He may have only had greens on him, but he had to have more going on than that.

I would give him the transition tag. No way I pay top dollar for him regardless of this. I'd rather start DD lewis that blow chunk of cap on him.

Tampa also cut Warrick Dunn. Remember when Dunn was part of a potent RB combo with T.J. Duckett, playing for head coach Jim Mora Jr. and offensive coordinator Greg Knapp, under the auspices of Ruskell in the front office? Hey, wait, I just thought of something....
