I would like to point some other teams first before I get to the Suns. For example, San Antonio has great team chemisty simply because they dont get rid of players, and the same goes to the Los Angeles Lakers.
Seriously in the past 5 years how many players did the Spurs trade or lose? Maybe about 3-4?( Horry, Nesterovich, Berry) that's all I can think of right now. How about the Lakers? (Brown, S. Parker).
So my point is how can the Suns ever compete and go far into the playoffs if every single year they get rid of 3-4 players and add new players on this squad. It gets frustrating after a while. My dad and I were talking about this the other day and we have seriously traded or lost 10-15 players in the past 4 years. ( Johson, Thomas, T. Thomas, House, Jones, Marion, Bell and Diaw) just to name a few and there are plenty more.
The reason Spurs and Lakers have success in the NBA is because they dont panic and they develop their players and wait 2-3 years and start seeing improvements.
Chemisty is very very important and without it a team easily gets lost since every year new players are added to the squad. That's why players such as Nash and Barbosa feel sad to see half their teammates go and then have to adjust a different way every season.

Re: Chemisty issues!!!
Do All Star teams have chemistry issues because they never play together as a team? The issue isn't chemistry.

your response makes no sense.. what does this have to do with the all-star team?? He's talking about a real NBA team and FYI a lot of teams do not win game sbecause of Chemistry, therefore Chemistry is a major issue.

Re: Chemisty issues!!!
The issue is fun. These players dont play to win. They play to have fun. Paper tigers. You heard it from Bell and Diaw. It wasnt fun anymore. You see it in the players now and hear it directly from Amare and Steve. Since its not fun they dont care. Just like Mikey did. It wasnt fun losing to the Spurs ad nauseum and when they gave away game 1 last year he quit on the rest of series and then quit on the Suns cause it wasnt gonna be any fun no more.
For all its so called success the past seasons this team really did nothing in the playoffs. Beat mediocre teams like the Lakers and Grizz? Survive a Clippers team that was never heard of again? When it came to true big boy players like the Spurs the Suns folded every time. Even with home court advantage. You tell any true winner they are only gonna have 6 games at full strength to beat the Spurs and they would go fine cause we only need four. Of course the Suns couldnt even push it to a 7th game.
Personally Im sick of a fun team that doesnt go anywhere in the playoffs, lets any team back in the game and gets mentally lazy players wanting to join the roster cause it such a fun place to hang, like a spa for multimillionaires.
This team is a not a bunch of men who truly want to win. Its a team of babies who are crying and pouting cause their fun is gone.

Did San Antoni ever have BAD chemistry, keep the unhappy players around, then proceed to develop GOOD chemistry? No. They keep guys around because they already have good chemistry, not the other way around.

Chemistry problems are with the coach not the players, the players are fine. I mean every player has publicly spoken about Porter's style, doesn't that tell you something Kerr? Pull the trigger Kerr!

Re: Chemisty issues!!!
The difference between the Spurs and the Suns is that the Sours have a sound organization who KNOWS what they're doing. We don't.
After Nash's first year, a success nobody expected, we panicked cause we los in the WCF and blew up the team instead of giving them more time. Look at the Lakers, they sucked for two years after Shaq went to Miami but never panicked, they drafter young players, signed a couple FA and let them grow. Sure they had the luck of the Gasol trade but even without him they're still a pretty good team. That's the difference.

Re: Chemisty issues!!!
To be fair to the Suns organization we kept Amare, Nash, Marion, Bell and Diaw for awhile. Some wanted to get more money and playing time, JJ, TT and some just weren't anything special, House, Marks, Banks etc.
We had a good solid core for the duration of Mike D's coaching tenure.

Re: Chemisty issues!!!
We didn't keep JJ and Q though did we? Sure JJ wanted out but if we handled him better maybe he would have wanted to stay. As for Q, was there any need to trade him?
But forget this. We made some terrible moves this past years. How many times u see the Spurs trading a decent big ALONG 2 first rounders just to dump his salary? Not to mention all the wasted draft picks. We could have Rondo backing up Nash and Fernandez on the bench as our 6th man...

I still think losing KT was probably our front office's lowest moment. Not just because he was let go purely for money but also because he helped the Spurs dump us out of the first round last year.

I agree, although it's a close call with the James Jones + Rudy Fernandez for 3M Cash.
both trades were 100% about "screw the franchise, as long as we save some $'s"
