Denver doesn't scare me. We dominate them and we dominate Chauncey Billups. Their defense still isn't that great, as long at JR Smith doesn't go off we should be alright. Memo not sucking would also help our cause. Denver is a good home team, but we've won there at least once the last few seasons.

this one is going to be hard to win. Maybe leaving this morning instead of last night might be the change they need on the road.

Van Gundy giving huge huge props to Paul Millsap on ABC in the Spurs, Lakers game. Also had him and Deron as his reserves in the all-star game..

Paul Millsap is gonna get a raise this offseason and you can probably say goodbye to either Boozer or Memo.

I know some including myself have been down on Boozer, but I really hope it's memo who leaves

I have a feeling Memo won't opt-out.

Thats what Ive been saying from training camp. There is one contending team with cap space this summer and its Detriot. They will be looking for frontcourt players and basically Boozer, Millsap and Okur will be competeing against each other.

Whats Hilarious is we have IMO 3 of the top 4 big man FAs for this summer on our team.

If Memo can go on another run it would be dumb of Utah not to trade him. Next to Millsap he has the highest trade value right now. He is a consistent 15 and 7 C, good teammate, good salary and lastly his contract expires right before the 2010 summer.

I will tell you this much there is about a 5% chance that Korver opts out.

And honestly, it would be a smart move for Memo NOT to opt-out. He knows the Jazz are in a financial strain and they have to make a choice at that point between Millsap and Boozer, with one of them gone, that leaves room for him to be signed the following year, may not be as much money, but the security of years is what he will probably get.. Not to mention he likes it here, and this system is pretty good for him. He also really isn't an injury concern, so he can take the risk of playing next year knowing he doesn't have a contract extension.

His best intrest is to work out an extension with Utah. If he waits till his contract expires I think Utah will go in a different direction.

This system is only good for players at 1 and 4. Center position in this system is bad for his stats, so I don't think this system is good for him.

I don't know if it is by chance or coincidence, but Deron likes to play the game only with "darker" players. If you watch carefully any game, he won't give an assist to Matt, Korver, Kirilenko, Memo or Koufos unless it is the last 5 seconds of the shotclock. He always prefers Boozer-Milsap, or CJ-Brewer. I am sure Kirilenko and Memo are pissed off so much of this, you can see that from their lack of effort in defense, or even by their looks.

I am sure most will disagree, but this is just my objective observation.

BTW, CJ and Brewer together would make an efficient role player, if combined into one player. Otherwise, I don't see any future in holding both. Jazz will lose tonight again because CJ and Brewer will add up to one player stats and Jazz will play 4 against 5. Deron will pump Milsap's stats as usual but Milsap's stupid turnovers and careless mistakes will cost us the game, no matter if he makes 30-20.

I would like to nominate Rinaldi for dumbest post of 2009. Yes I know its early, but Deron only passes to black people has to be the winner.

I am just going to comment on the first part of this theory. The part about 1's and 4's being the only good positions in this system. Well, IMO that is BS. Jeff Malone and Jeff Hornacek thrived in this system at the 2 spot. SF's with limited offensive abilities have done quite well in this system (Russell comes to mind).
