Wolves on PTI in a couple of minutes

Post#1 » by theGreatRC » Mon Jan 26, 2009 10:46 pm

I just turned on the TV and it says "Wolves" right after the Ravens segment.

Update to come.

OT:....

McHale is using the wrong artist as an example. I don't think anyone would like an offense looking like a Picasso painting....the team's floor spacing would look a mess.
And btw,,,Pablo kept a lot of cr@p, did a lot of cr@p.

Update:

It was part of the "Mail Time!" segment where Kornheiser

The question was:

"Mchale Mchale was routinely ripped for being a terrible GM. The Wolves have a best record in the NBA in the new year. How about some DAP for Kevin Mchale the coach?"

Wilbon said Mchale is a good coach, but got no respect because he was such a GM for a long time that it affected people's opinions.

Heiser said that Mchale was 2-10 in December so we have to keep that in mind.

Wilbon closed it out by saying we should be giving dap to Mchale for getting Kevin Love!

Pretty funny you mentioned that.

I was just in Art Appreciation about two hours ago and we were looking at some pieces that Picasso did.

I think he meant that we shouldn't look at the win as something beautiful; it was messy, questionable, and it makes you wonder how we did it, sort of like Pablo's paintings of the famous Bulls he used to paint(The one with the obscure eyes and weird shaped heads), and during his blue period where the women would be skinny in some places and big in others, it just makes you wonder How something like this came together.

Or I could be looking too much into the quote and Mchale just mixed up his artists.

yeah probably. I think McHale did not mix anyone up. I guess he was rather talking about the greatness of Picasso instead of the actual painting style Picasso had...

This is the guy who described a draft prospect's limited wingspan as "pterodactyl arms"

I think we're over analyzing it

I'm 6'1" with an armspan just shy of 6'8" outside of being able to rebound in high school, it doesn't really mean much other than i don't need help at the grocery store reaching the top shelf... over analysis is correct! way too much thinking, not enough watching and enjoying.
