Good job Bynum!
But if you check the teams we were playing the whole week, it wasn't super teams other then Spurs. The others he pretty much dominated the middle.. especially the clippers game. Total mismatch. But i'm glad he utilized that opportunity to his advantage. Hopefully this will spark more fire in him to defend better and attack more confidently.

The point of your sarcasm was ... ?
No one even remotely implied that LeBron wasn't deserving, only that it's kind of (Please Use More Appropriate Word) to list LeBron's stats for the week and not Bynum's.

Re: Andrew bynum western player of the week
Keep it up Bynum.
I'm noticing Bynum is drawing fouls a little better. Not just getting to the line, but getting fouled on catches, players keeping him off the boards, etc. Maybe I just wasn't noticing it before, but that shows more aggression.
His d has been a bit better, too, imo. Not where I would like it, but better. Seriously, he should just watch Tim Duncan and try to play defense like Tim. Bynum has Tim's length and build, and then some. He just needs to learn how defend like him...build that defensive iq about where to be, positioning, etc. If he plays positional help defense half as well as Tim Duncan this year, it would improve our defense a great deal.
This award is a nice confidence builder though.

Re: Andrew bynum western player of the week
^^^ I recall reading something a while ago which said that Bynum wanted to model his game off Duncan's, so that shouldn't be too much to ask. For Bynum to be the defender that Duncan is is probably asking a little much, but if he can study how Duncan plays then that does nothing but benefit him.

as a sarcastic person myself, might i recommend that saying "Lebron is the EC POTW? now their just giving the title away, would have been a better spin on it

Re: Andrew bynum western player of the week
He was obviously being sarcastic...but like SS said, there doesn't seem to be a reason.
And
at the thread last week saying Brook Lopez is a better player. Great timing.
