Miller is kind of McCants-like sometimes. He should be a midrange king, but instead he's either bombing threes or driving all the way to the rim for the offensive foul.

Randy Foye is also the same way. I love players with a good mid range game. If Salmons is available I think we should go after him.

No on B. Wright. He's a PF in 1-2 years when his body begins filling out.

Yes on T. Young. But why would the Sixers move him? Not going to happen.

I think we need to consider Ariza or Childress as more affordable, more realistic options. If the Hawks keep Willams there is no way they would match a MLE offer for Childress.

I was thinking of Brandan as something of a tweener who could help Love defensively against the likes of KD, LMA, Kirilenko, etc. but your probably right.

My thinking with Philly is that they are in a win now mode with Brand and they already have Iggy starting so they could move Thad for someone more established. The Philly guys have talked a lot about adding a shooter not sure if Miller fits the bill for them or not.

I like Ariza. He really completes that Laker team doesn't he? Are we willing to pay that much more that the MLE for him though? He also seems to add to our glut without really giving much upside over the rest of our wings.

Mike Miller, Wolves

Getting Miller as part of the Kevin Love trade this past summer looked like a coup for the Wolves. However, Miller hasn't fit in and reportedly has been miserable in Minnesota. While the Wolves publicly say there's nothing to the Miller trade rumors, a number of GMs around the league disagree.
Miller's shooting ability and reasonable contract make him one of the most attractive trade candidates out there.

Ford has stated this before, but he's the only one. If it had any legs, you'd think other sources would reporting it. That said, the next couple weeks should be interesting.

I don't buy it either. Even when he was injured, the guy jumped out of the second row and got into huddles in his suit. I've mentioned it before, but that's something that impressed me, and doesn't fit at all with players that are miserable here .. and we've experience seeing those types of players.

I'm sure there are a lot of teams hoping to buy low on Miller, and perhaps that's something they toss around to try to encourage McHale to sell cheap.
