Quick question.

In an 8 team league, why does anyone even have Anthony Parker or Shane Battier on their roster?

This is weird.

The guy getting Kobe is giving up a lot, but the thing is I am assuming there are some great pickups to be had on waivers, so basically he gets Kobe and replaces 2 os his outgoing studs with studs on the wire.

Same situation for the guy that currently has Kobe.

He gets awesome value considering the guys he sends out with Kobe, but again I assume, there are numerous better players to pick up then 2 of the guys that he is ending out.

It's not that it is especially unfair, just strange.

I guess it depends who is on waivers.

If you guys have a million positions and rosters spots this trade makes a lot more sense on both sides, but if every team is already stacked and there are numerous guys on the waiver that are top 70 players, well IDK then.

Agreed. If it's normal depth, it's fair, if it's absurdly deep, it's questionable.
