Knock on wood, but the only way I want this team to miss the playoffs is if we wind up having an injury to Devin or VC that keeps them out numerous games.

If they are healthy and we still miss the playoffs, we are still gonna wind up as the 9th or 10th seed and barring a stroke of unbelieveable luck we will wind up with between the 13th and 11th pick.

There honestly isn't usually a big difference between those picks and the 15th.

So basically I am saying unless we wind up with a really good lotto pick and a solid chance to move up to top 3, I absolutley want to make the playoffs.

I agree, the upcoming draft is disgusting unless you get a Blake Griffin type player.

I wouldn't go that far by any means, but it is not looking as deep as last year's.

The problem is a lot of the depth is PG.

If Monroe declares, he looks real legit.

Harden is gonna be a baller.

Jrue Holliday looks nasty, but he's a PG.

Earl Clark looks nice, although a lot of people have been low on him lately.
I haven't, I like the kid, plus he's from Rahway.

There's and arguement for Jordan Hill, but I don't know that his game will translate as well to the pros.

There a couple real nice prospects that should fall, but it's not like they are franchise players.
Then again, we don't really need a franchise player, just an impact player that eventually could become a star or a borderline Allstar type like RJ.

For that I like guys like Patrick Patterson, Terrence Williams, Dionte Christmas, Chase Buddinger, Danny Green and Hansborough.

Then there are guys like Maynor, Jennings, Curry, Collison, Lawson, Mills, Meeks and Vasquez, but I don't think you want to go PG at this point in a rebuild.

There's guys like Henderson that people are really high on, but I don't like him.

I don't know that I overly like this draft, but there are a bunch of potential stars and some really solid rotational looking players and I know I am forgetting a bunch of really nice propsects.

I agree with you. Not only do I think we can make the playoffs, I also think we are a better team then our record says we are.

Yeah the reporters still have low expectations, but they always do. Every year the reporters think we are going to sink, but until last year we were always in the playoffs. That said, MY expectations for this team has changed. I WANT a trade whether it be for a 3rd PG or a Starting SF to compete.

I am pretty sure most here can agree, EVEN Netsforce, that we lost more then a few games because of FRANK. SO, I also WANT FRANK to get FIRED. That stuff about he has a PASS is BS. Can this back fire? I am pretty sure it can, but I would, God Forbid Me for SAYING THIS, rather have Hill. At Least he has some experience coaching a BIG MAN. I cant take anymore of Lopez NOT getting the BALL in the POST.

IMO this team is no longer - Harris and VC with a young team. This team is NOW:

Starters
Arguably AllStar PG
Aging SUPERSTAR
3pt Threat SF that cant defend
All around Foreign Scoring Machine still to timid to take over a game
Up-n-Coming Cornerstone C
Bench
Should be Starting PG
Capable of Winning 6th Man Award SG/SF
Energy Guy that likes to Push People Around PF
Smooth Pick and Roll Scorer that Cant Hit a FT C
Nutty Shotblocker that would do anything to be on this team or get off of it PF/C
Rookie 3pt threat in a PF body
Rookie All Around Player that doesnt know it yet SG/SF
Underachieving PF that sometimes calls himself Ragtime.
Defensive SG/SFthat doesnt get into a game even when Opposing player just score 20pts in quarter

I am not saying this team can make it past the first round, but THEY ARE BETTER THEN THAT!!!!!!

Yea Mark jackson would be a good coach for this team.He would make Devin pass a little more and make better decisions during the game. But thats another story
