Kings at Cavs

It's at 4:00 (pacific time of course). As y'all know, we have yet to beat an east team and I think that trend is likely to continue. I think both West and the tall white dude (forgot his name) on the Cavs are injured, so maybe we have a small chance.

Big Z? I bet Salmons will play Lebron.

I think they should be seeing which Big guy of ours has the best feet to play against Lebron? They should play all of them to see who plays him best. This is the kind of stuff you need to be experimenting with now. At least get something positive out of the loses.

See, we aren't such a bad smallball team.

I can now see the interest in Brad Miller for the Cavs, they are a lot thinner at C then they appear on paper.

Sure against the right matchups. When the other teams bigs can't post up at all, the only disadvantage is rebounding.

I am really liking Kevins passing lately. He's doing that move Kobe does where on the drive he'll dish it out with an overhead hook back onto the perimeter.

Yeah, he's still generally turning it over way too much, but you can see the improvements that are happening skill-wise.

Dang, we are awful defending the 3s (Even though, we are dead last in terms of defending the 3s). We are letting a good shooter like Mo filling it up constantly.

Jesus, these Cavs announcers are ridiculous. You'd think that they were running away from the Celtics, not a team that literally hasn't won a game against the east.

Good effort but not enough. We were awful defending the 3s. Martin was the leading scorer, rebounder, and passer. Haven't seen that before.

Honestly, I can't complain too much. Our offense was excellent, and we we kind of hung around until the very end. Our defense wasn't great, but the Cavs are the kind of team where it's going to be extremely difficult to beat them when Mo Williams gets hot. He was on fire tonight and we still hung around. For a team that isn't going to always have that Mo Williams, I'd say we did a pretty good job, because they were pretty tough to guard.

The rebounding is my main problem with this game. Jason had an unusually bad game in that respect, and that made a big difference. Spencer certainly could have been better in that regard as well, and our 3 PGs combined for 0 rebounds. That was really the big difference maker. They got to the line a crazy amount of times, but also had many more possessions than us because they had 17 offensive rebounds to our 5.

But still, there were a lot of positive things to take from this game. Kevin had one of his best games of the year, John kept us remotely in the game. Beno wasn't great, but he wasn't bad either (just didn't take many shots). Jason scored well. Brad played well in limited minutes. Spencer was okay and at least showed some nice progress in the post. Cisco wasn't at his best, but he played hard as always. Brown was only all right, and B-Jax played like poo. But over all, I'm pretty happy with the game.

haha, yea not too many people can stand our announcers. I don't blame either, Austin Carr really is like a fan trying to be second fiddle to the play by play guy(Fred McCloud). I'm sure it gets annoying if your not a Cavs fan watching them call a game.

Good game guys. Had me worried for a good bit tonight. You got some real great shooters and the difference was rebounding(49-25). Good luck the rest of the season.

It was just weird. I was just like "why are you so excited? You do realize that your team is 35-8 and playing arguably the worst team in the league at home, right?"

^haha, for sure. I was able to catch the last quarter, and the rebounding was terrible. With that said, I loved Martin's play in today's game. My goodness! 35 points, 7 boards, 7 assists! That's kobe like!

What was dissappointing was thompson. He got flat out shown up by hickson, which really pisses me off because of that one conversation with heathmac cause he said hickson was better than thompson, which is false. Hickson killed us on the boards today though.

Honestly, a 7 point loss to one of the best teams in the league in their gym when getting outrebounded by 20 is not too shabby. Better boxing out and some perimeter defense and we could have won.

Wow...James had more rebounds than our entire C/PF/SF put together (15 to 14), and that includes the bench!...pathetic. It's games like this that make me worry about trading Salmons and putting Garcia into the starting SF spot. He's WAY too inconsistent! One game he shoots good, the other...he shoots 3 for 9 and 1 for 5 from 3.

He did!? I didn't really see that at all. Hickson scrapped around pretty good, but I don't think either jumped off the page to be honest.

Natt is terrible with his constant matchup switches. He can't play small ball against Lebron. He should be going with 3 big guys JT/Miller/Hawes against these teams with huge SF's. And why the hell is a defensive player of the year and 20/12 guy not getting off the bench. The Kings need to keep Shelden he is a role they are very weak in rebounding/defense and banging. Natt was one of those pretend tough guys as a player (those Mikki Moore types look like tough players but average 4/4, Natt averaged 5 point a game in his career not exactly the toughest guy) while Shelden is just a real soft looking but actual tough player and put up the same stats as Hawes and JT in summer ball. Why the hell does that guy not get off the bench instead of BJax? You have a cheap solid backup big guy who can bang, play defense and rebound. You just got outrebounded 25-49. You don't have to kill on the boards to win you just need to be close. The worst part is Natt he is trying to win and not rebuilding as you see from BJax 15 minutes of 0.
Eddie Jordan always plays his big guys and always has a good rebounding team on the floor. I
