Mid -Season Player Grades

Now that we're at the mid way point of the season, what grades would you give each player based on their play and give a description.

Dug up my post at the quarter point in the season, see my post for descriptions:

Overall: A+

What I'd give them for the full half-season so far:

Rajon: He's still been inconsistent, but he's a huge part of the team. We rise and fall with him easily. He just got serious about that jumper and if it gets consistent in game then he'll shoot up to an A. B
Ray: Continued that hot trend he had at the quarter mark to a lot of games in the second quarter of the season. The consistency gets him a slight improvement in his grade. Still believe that if his shot's falling, then we're unbeatable. A
Paul: He still is who he is. He hasn't lost much of a step. A
KG: Still the key to our defense and why we are where we are. A
Perk: Continued to play solid and he's cut back on the technicals. That alone gets him a small improvement.A-

Tony: He's been hurt and pretty ineffective when he's been out there. For just the quarter, he'd get a C- or a D+, but he did start the year off well and he's still the best wing defender off of our bench. B-
Eddie: He is what he is and we're not going to get a whole lot more out of him. His jumper's been falling and it'd be great if he kept it up. B
Leon: He's been quiet and ineffective lately. His limitations have become clear, but I still wouldn't be surprised if he busted out another big game or two one of these days. C
Baby: The jumper's falling and he's been one of our most effective bench players, but don't get short sighted. He's still had a 1/12 performance and a few other casualties. I'd like to see him put it together for more than five games. Gets a small grade improvement due to him converting on that jumper that he was working on. C
Scal: Full grade improvement. He's been the ideal guy to spell one of our starters when they get hurt, because he doesn't give anything up when playing with the starters, whereas he doesn't add anything with the bench.B-
O'Bryant: Small improvement, still getting limited minutes, but he doesn't look as bad as he did at the quarter point. Still mostly incomplete.D+
Pruitt: More than a full letter grade improvement. He's played well enough that I'm expecting him to be at least capable of being a 4th guard in the NBA and should be in our plans for the future as our 3rd guard.C+
Walker: Has looks like he belongs on this team in limited minutes. As far as his role with the team is concerned, I'm guessing he's at the stage where Pruitt was at the quarter point, where he was just being worked into the team. C+
Giddens: Haven't seen much of him, no change. D
Sam: There were some rumblings of him talking about getting into the game. All I want to see him doing is being quiet about playing and mentoring Pruitt and Rondo. C

Overall: Yeah, we had a skid, but I still think we could have pulled out every one of those losses. All but one were all close relatively late in the games. Not going to fault the team for a little bad luck, especially when we still have one of the best records in the league. However, that Cleveland game did worry me, but I think if we can just not get off to a bad start against them, then we should be fine. If you let them beat you early, then you're not getting it back. J+ is better than a high K. I'm using a variable ratio opaque rating scale.
