Now that we're at the mid way point of the season, what grades would you give each player based on their play and give a description.

Shaq- A+

At 36 and averaging 18-9, most centers a decade younger can't even do that.

Amare-D

His numbers in almost everything is down from last season and he still doesn't try on the defensive end.

Hill-B

At like 36 years old and averaging 10 points off the bench is noteworthy.

Richardson-B+

The grade is mostly for the trade, I know he's in a slump right now but he's anothe reliable scorer that can go off and is a much better fit for the Suns than Diaw and Bell.

Nash-D

Same as Amar'e his numbers are down, he still doesn't give an effort on the defensive end and he even complains more than Amar'e now days.

bench:

Barbosa-A+

I gotta give him the most credit on the Suns, after his mom passed away he still comes out to play and is averaging close to 13 points per game.

Barnes-C

Average signing for the vets minimum but as we all know about Barnes he's a shot chucker with below average defense but for the minimum you can't go wrong...

Amundson-D-

Give almost any other player his size the minutes and they would be more likely to put up better numbers, Amundson is getting way to many minutes and should be playing in the d-league. There are plenty more guys in the d-league more deserving than him.

Dudley-C

Hasn't got much playing but he can be a solid rotation player with time.

Tucker-B

If given the minutes he can scorer, he just doesn't get a chance but he's most likely the highest character guy on the Suns.

Lopez-F

Look at how he played in the PAC10 in one of the smallest conf. He was a poor rebounder, couldn't scorer and played behind his brother. This guy had bust written on him all before the draft, that's what happens when you draft a player with no ceiling. The Suns should have drafted Deandre Jordan, Javale Mcgee or Marresse Speights over this guy.

Dragic-F

I'm not going to get into this but the guy is a top 5 worse player in the NBA most likely.

Sims-?

Suns just signed him and he has never played a game for them, they should give Amundson his minutes though because he probally could put up better numbers but for now his grade is unknown.

What are your scores?

Here are mine compared to yours
MaryvalesFinest wrote:Shaq- A+ A+...nuff said
Amare-D B-...he's still a great player even if he's a lazy bum on D
Hill-B A-...crucial to team, 2nd best playmaker still
Richardson-B+ B+...good, helps in key situations but has shown a couple of poor choices in the clutch.
Nash-D A-...numbers down but still 3rd best playmaker in the NBA
Barbosa-A+ A-...consistency
Barnes-C B...he looks better with more playing time
Amundson-D- A+...guy is above his potential, tries 500% and takes care of intangibles all over the place. People complain about too many minutes but I disagree.
Dudley-C N/A...too little PT to tell
Tucker-B N/A...too little PT
Lopez-F D...foul machine, etc.
Dragic-F ZERO.
Sims-? ?
