OT: Can I move down to get a better seat?

Post#1 » by baller1069 » Thu Jan 29, 2009 2:19 am

Hey Nets fans - I'm from Toronto and wondering if I buy an upper level seat can I move down and fill one of the empty seats or are the ushers strict?

It's about 50/50.
Some are period bags, some don't care.
Last game I went to wasvs. Portland.
I had tickets in the upper level and for the entire 2nd half I sat about 15 rows up from the court.
It's not that the usher was cool, he just wasn't checking anyone's tickets, I guess he didn't really care.

It's funny, in Charlotte, the ushers are told to invite people to move down stairs in the 2nd and 3rd quarters. Even if the game is good but nobody is there, they want to get the team pumped because fans are generally more into the game the closer they are to the court

Actually, i have season tickets in the upper level and a couple times already this year they will start playing jeopardy music and tell everyone in the upper level to "come on down" to the first level. so i went from 3rd row upper level to like 4th row lower level for free.
