That was by far the worst third quarter I've seen all season by any team they should of been boo'ed out the building. What a waste.

Re: Game 45: Los Angeles (10-34) VS Chicago (18-27)
Bulls win 95-75. It was a 3 point game at the half, but we were outscored 26-9 in the 3rd quarter. It was just a lackluster performance by this team tonight. The Bulls hit their shots for the most part. For a stretch, Rose couldn't miss (he hit 8 of his first 9). They outboarded us by 19. If you give up that many boards (regardless of end of the court), you're not likely to win. DJ had a couple of nice plays (running hook, 3 alley oops), but everyone else had a sub-par game aside from he and Fred Jones.
I'm just glad that it's looking like we're going to fill out our active roster and that guys are getting healthy.

It's disappointing, to say the least.
To think that the coaching issues aren't going to be addressed until his contract runs out is almost crushing.

Knowing the way the Clipps do business, i hope they'll at least address it till then and don't extend him.
BTW: What a crappy 3rd quarter. 9 points? Man i hope those cats will come back soon, gel and play better basketball during the 2nd half of the season, cause it's pretty hard to watch this team right now.

I looked at the boxscore this morning and saw that we only had 9 points in the third. What a shame, I guess it goes back to saying we need to play better instead of saying we need our players back. We had Baron and Marcus but. I know that they're not in game shape but they should have helped us out a little bit.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

Disappointing 3rd quarter. When Baron and Camby first came in it actually gave the team a spark and I thought we might have had a chance. But when EJ missed that fast break layup, I think that indicated how the night was going to go. Those alley-oop dunks by DJ in the 4th were awesome, though. Can Al please pass the ball? Even when he's cold as ice he'll still put up fade away jumpers instead of kicking it out to a wide open Gordon.

Re: Game 45: Los Angeles (10-34) VS Chicago (18-27)
That was a pathetic 3rd quarter. Thorton and Gordon were just settling for contested jumpers almost every play. No ball movement whatsoever. Nearly every play Thornton had the ball, he dribbles the clock down, tries to do some crossover moves, then hoists up some wild fadeaway shot. Gordon had some open looks but just wasn't hitting his shots. Very little attempt to drive the ball and try to create, and the few times someone drove the ball in for a layup, they were stripped, or blew layups. Meanwhile, nearly every possession by the Bulls resulted in good ball movement, and decent looks. And the Bulls were just hitting their shots, not much else you can say.
Even the Chicago announcers were puzzled that Thornton and Gordon kept settling for jumpers when they were both 3 for 12 at that point in the game, and that the only shots they made were from layups or the occasional 3 pointer. Both of them are capable of beating their defender off the dribble, or at least draw contact for some foul shots, yet none of that was happening.
I was impressed by Jordan though. I love his ferocious dunks. Even the last game against the Warriors when he kept trying that Dwight Howard Superman dunk and kept missing, it shows that he's attacking the rim and not settling for jumpers. They need to give him more touches, because he has the right idea, he just needs to develop his post moves some more.
Aaron Gray's airballed free throw and DJ's dunks were the only bright spot in the game for me.

Impressive return to the lineup for Barren. 1 for 10 from the field. Sorry, but you almost have to try to be that bad. First game back or not, this guy is beyond terrible. Headed for a .25% FG percentage for the season. Incomprehensibly horrible. Pull a Marbury on this guy and don't let him within 100 feet of an NBA court. I absolutely despise this useless waste of a roster space (at 16 M per season to boot).

Nice call, you were only off by 40.

More like, hopefully Barren renounces his contract and retires.
