Replace Barbosa with Tucker and Tragic and then maybe I'd do it, but then TOR wouldn't, lol

Let's say this trade went down... after this season the Suns are next to broke (in a player quality sense). They will have lost Amare, Barbosa, Barnes, Maybe Nash, Grant Hill.

Suns would look like this Bosh, Shaq, Richardson... and a bunch of scrubs. Then after that season You'd be left with Bosh and Richardson. With probably nothing to attract FAs.

Bosh doesn't really have that much more upside compared to Amare who still has huuuge upside still.

Let's say it doesn't go down. In 2010 it's Barbosa, Richardson and possibly ( not probably ) Amar'e with less cap space ( due to Leandro Barbosa ). Is that a better situation?

I get your point but i don't think it's that different and it may be worth the risk for the Suns.

thats true. I guess I just wanted to say that they could keep Amar'e and trade him for better value in the future. Bosh for Amar'e right now could improve the Suns but I feel that it doesn't leave them with any flexibility latter on.

I get you albasuna. Even though you might be Spanish i get you. :)

If Kerr believes Amar'e will leave in 2010 then this deal is an absolute go.

Tim Legler from ESPN was on the Gambo and Ash show and he said that their was a trade rumor involving the Suns and the 76ers. The trade would involve Amare and Tucker for Elton Brand and Thaddeus Young.. I personally would do it if Young is involved, but if not, I would not touch this at all.

I would much rather do this. I don't want to give up on Tucker yet, he could be the future of this franchise if given the opportunity. 76ers have talked about trading Brand and Miller, so this would be fantastic for us.

Why doesn't Bosh have much upside and Amare has way more?
Just curious as to why you think so.

he probably thinks so because amare is no a fragile, lanky, finesse player. he probably thinks so because amare is the most dominant offensive player in the paint. you probably dont think so because porter is horrible for the suns and amare gets 60% of the touches he deserves.

go watch the raptors and see if you think the suns feed amare like they feed bosh.

lol since when was Amare "dominant" in the paint? He's "dominant" when he's being fed off of Nash, which is why he played his best O game in a while w/ Nash picking and popping all day long. And Bosh hasn't had any knee surgeries, so I don't know how you can call him any more fragile than Amare.
