We got this. Losing to the Bobcats is going to be a wake up call and the Lakers typically respond well to losses. We've got a tough stretch of games coming up, so we need to pick it up on the defensive end and play with a ton of energy.

I'm curious to know if Bynum will be available for this one as well (suspension?).

Randy Foye is ballin right now, Kobe has his work cut out. Minni is 9-2 the last couple of games. Is Trevor going to play? Need his defense against Minni's explosive forwards.

hope drew plays. aljeff just doesn't have the size to back down or defend drew. drew held him to 8 for 24 last matchup.

Gut feeling tells me Drew will be in the hotel for this one, if the league wasn't going to suspend him they would've came right out quickly and said so. But the fact that they're still reviewing the play spells it out clearly.

Why ? Simple what better way to deflate a team emotionally then to stab them at the last minute like Stu Jackson usually does. Twice when it's come to suspensions involving the Lakers he always informed the team the day of the game ( remember New York and Milwaukee in Kobe's suspensions ) that's how he rolls. Second if they don't suspend Drew then they have to listen to the complaints and back lash from teams that have had petty suspensions.

In a strange way this may be just the emotional tug we need to light a blaze under our guys heading into what is the most difficult stretch of the schedule. We need a chip on our shoulder.

The Lake show need to hit the glass hard

I can see another Indiana game where Gasol and Drew don't go in for boards and allow Love/Smith/Jefferson to dominate the boards

Fish needs to step it up this game

Thanks for the game thread. Nice.

Statement game time... blowout would be nice. I know they have played much better lately, but still.

I'd like to see Powell get good minutes if Drew is Stu Jackson'd

Drew need to continue his good play and establish himself as the 3rd dominate scorer on this team. If he can become a consistant 15/10, we will be a force. IMO a big part of Bynums coming around is that he is now starting to hit his "chipies", they werent falling for him earlier in the year but now it seems like he has that soft bounce on the rim again.

can't wait for today's game. i like how the wolves are playing, i'm enjoying their play these past 10-15 games... should be a good match-up between Bynum & Jefferson, Kobe should also have a fun night guarding Foye, that kid's been on a tear man!

we gotta get this win and do it in a dominant fashion because the next five games should be real tough. We got Memphis and New York which should be 2 easy wins (hoping they don't blow it on another weak team  ) then Toronto, which is a decent team, then Boston and Cleveland. It'd be REAL nice to go 5-1 on this trip but who knows. Killing Boston's run of games and Cleveland's perfect home record would be SWEET!!! at that point i wouldn't mind a loss to either Memphis or New York, would you? lol
